Absolute Dream! Absolute Dream!
My husband & I got married Saturday 6th July 2019. We chose to do our vows in Windsor followed by our wedding breakfast & reception at The Royal Berkshire in Ascot. Laura Brooks was our wedding co-ordinator and she was an absolute dream. On the run up to the wedding she was very responsive and every time we met she was forthcoming with ideas and really accommodating (we asked for our favourite Gin to be stocked and she made it happen). I would recommend The Royal Berkshire to anyone who wants a lovely wedding that still feels private, the food was great and the team were very proactive. Laura particularly made the whole process easy, which is great when you are organising a wedding :)My husband & I got married Saturday 6th July 2019. We literally had the best day, loved every minute of it but cannot believe it is all over and done with now...honeymoon to look forward to. We do have some feedback, please see below; I would just like to say how fantastic Justyna was. Literally she was on hand at any time and was always making sure everything was perfect for us, even my sisters pointed out after the wedding how attentive she was and wanting to make sure everybody had the perfect time. I would really like you to pass this feedback on to her and her manager as I think it is really important that she knows just how thankful we are that she was part of our day. Overall the service from you all was also fantastic, there was always somebody nearby if we needed anything The food...AMAZING! So many people commented on how lovely the food was, from the canapes through to the wedding breakfast and the evening food. Marc did speak with the chef to pass on the great feedback but again, if you wouldn't mind passing this on again, we would very much appreciate it. Overall though we would like to thank Royal Berkshire for part hosting literally the best days of our lives. The day was perfect and glad we picked such a beautiful hotel. We will definitely be visiting for drinks on occasion as the place will stay close to us. We were really appreciated by all the flexibility to make our wedding suit us and all our guests. The food was second to none. We really love the hotel's setting, very relaxed and comfortable, and all the staff were very friendly, nice and helpful. Communication was easy and the planning process was straight forward, easy to follow and we knew everything was going to be just fine! Again, thank you so much! It really was an amazing day! What an amazing experience we had, it was truly the best day of our lives which was made absolutely perfect with the upmost attention of the royal Berkshire staff. The attention to detail was more that we could ever have asked for. Our guests have been complimenting on how well it was coordinated and how attentive and pleasant the staff were, they even say it was the best wedding they have attended. The venue was kept immaculate all evening and even our sweet stand was replenished throughout the night. Perfect Day!Perfect Day!
Six weeks before the big day we were told by our original venue that they were cancelling our wedding. Our world fell apart and we were lost .... until we came to the Royal Berkshire Hotel. They turned one of the biggest nightmares we had ever faced into one of the greatest miracles. With six weeks to reorganise the whole wedding, Everyone made it so easy and effortless and accommodated every request we had. They dealt with every concern and worry we had and eased any stress we were feeling, greeting us with a glass of bubbly on every visit and reassuring us that they had everything under control. I genuinely believe fate played a big role in having our wedding at the Royal Berkshire and was a million times better than we ever could have imagined it would be at the original venue. The organisation was flawless from beginning to end and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. Laura and her team were there for us and our guests at every point of the day and couldn't do enough for us. Talking to friends and family, everyone said how amazing the wedding was and how genuine and caring all the staff were at the venue. We couldn't have asked for more. Outstanding! Outstanding!
The Royal Berkshire was just magical and PERFECT in every single way. We chose it, as we were looking for a venue close to home that we could have PRIVATELY for our WEDDING, and my word we could not have chosen a better venue or location. Our wedding was on Sunday 19th May, just a few days ago, and I am literally still on a high, the food, the staff, the way the venue leant itself for all our little quirky requests was truly outstanding. We had an afternoon tea on the lawns, drinks reception in the bar, an extremely romantic beautiful alfresco ceremony in the Walled Garden, a silent disco under the 'stars' and then a simply stunning meal and entire evening of amazing celebrations in the Berkshire Suite. This venue absolutely nailed every single detail, it was punctual, seamless, professional but also very relaxed and attentive. We absolutely loved it, as did our 140 guests, and this isn't the first time we've used it for a function, our charity event 1.5 years ago was equally amazing. I would 100% recommend this venue for so many reasons. OUTSTANDING.The Royal Berkshire was just magical and PERFECT in every single way. It was such a pleasure to have met you and we can’t thank you enough for seeing that our day went by without a hitch. We are both so pleased that we chose Royal Berks as our wedding venue not only because the venue is beautiful, there’s so many beautiful venues around, but mainly because of the people. Colleen & Co made us feel like VIPs from the day we first went there and it was with a tinge of sadness that we learnt she left. However, you picked up the ball before it hit the ground and gave us an unrivalled wedding experience. Thank you! Your professionalism shone through time and again, making us feel that our wedding was the most important event in your diary and I really valued your girly enthusiasm for all the detail. You made me feel like the most special bride and us the most special couple during the whole process - calming my nerves whenever I felt overwhelmed and answering Phil’s repeated and endless questions about the rooms, microphones and music. We never felt any pressure from you as you moved things along, obtaining all the information and details needed. Our guests had a wonderful time - everything was magic, from the ceremony room to the delightful wedding breakfast room. Thanks also for looking after the guests with champagne in the very long receiving line. No detail was too small not to be important to you and the staff – from the people in reception through to catering we experienced the absolute best and Nigel made an impression second to none.
