In its own private grounds, set against the stunning backdrop of the picturesque Gloucestershire countryside, the Victorian mansion exudes grandeur and romance making it the perfect setting for your day. The four-star hotel boasts a fantastic selection of licensed rooms for you to use for your ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening reception. The Westminster Suite combines classic elegance and contemporary style. You can treat the space as the perfect blank canvas to accommodate any colour scheme and style. The self-contained suite has its own dancefloor, stage and bar for up to 280 guests to enjoy. The glass-panelled Orangery built in 1874 looks gorgeous in the daytime with cascades of natural light. This unique venue can accommodate ceremonies and wedding breakfasts with up to 90 guests and evening parties of 120 guests. Ruined our wedding day!Ruined our wedding day!
I would avoid booking such an important day with this venue. 4 weeks before our wedding, they cancelled all our accommodation and guests accommodation as a corporate client wanted exclusive access. They offered no remediation nor remedy - and left us to solve >50 guests accommodation in summer the Cotswolds with 4 weeks notice. We never received an apology and the general manager refused to meet us, our parents nor take a phone call to discuss. When I was informed and said I pictured getting ready in the suite booked the morning of my wedding - I was told ‘this isn’t their problem’ and that I only had a contract the evening of the wedding with them so to figure something myself. When my parents advise it was a breach of contract to on-sell our accommodation and guests accommodation for exclusive use, the response by the hotel was ‘so, sue us’. We received calls all the way up to the wedding from guests complaining about how rude the reservation team was when’s cancelling their bookings. It was a continuous nightmare in the lead up to an important day, which should have been joyous and exciting. Our wedding day was incredible from beginning to end and more perfect than we could have imagined. Thank you for all your hard work and thank you to Moises and the team as well who worked so hard to ensure we had the best day. Our guests were blown away with the venue and the staff and how brilliant they all were. Thank you for coming to see us during the day. Nothing was too much trouble for you and you and the team answered our (many!) questions superfast and with all the information we needed. You really helped make the planning process a dream! Please pass our thanks on to the Operations team on the day. We were so grateful to you and them for making the day run so smoothly, as well as helping to sort out any issues (ie – cake not arriving!!). The day was absolutely perfect from start to finish, and we are so so glad to have picked Tortworth Court as our venue. As well as being stunning, the staff were second to none.
