The Mill House is set within the stunning Berkshire countryside and offers beautifully landscaped gardens, where every season shows off something new. The River Loddon runs alongside the garden giving a beautiful backdrop to your photos. The front of the house boasts a traditional Georgian frontage with tall bay windows and stunning flowers beds. After careful restoration to its former Georgian glory, the interior of The Mill House boasts high ceilings, original wood flooring in the bar and large spacious reception rooms, as well as twelve individually decorated bedrooms. The Mill House Hotel is family run and has been hosting weddings since 1994. We offer various reception rooms for both your wedding ceremony and reception, intimate weddings within the house or larger wedding in our riverside marquee which is available all year round. This allows to be able to hold any wedding or event in there at any time of year. The Hotel has protected the heritage and has blended the old with the new, to create a beautiful setting. We can host your wedding ceremony in all areas of the hotel, either in the house for up to 90 guests, in our marquee for 120 guests or in our Cedar Pavilion located in the wonderful gardens for 120 guests. We can offer exclusive use of the venue for you to celebrate your special day with friends and family, with exceptional service in a friendly and unobtrusive manner. Located in the Berkshire countryside, The Mill House offers beautiful landscaped gardens with sprawling lawns, patios and water fountain giving the perfect backdrop for your wedding photos and drinks reception. With views of the Loddon river, vibrant flowerbeds and plenty of outdoor seating.

We have worked with this venue many times over the past few years. the hotel is lovely with beautiful grounds. The team headed up by Kim and Mark are professional, friendly and very easy to work with. It was the most magical day It was the most magical day
Had our wedding reception here 3rd May 19. and staff were amazing ! The grounds are stunning and the marquee was excellent. Me and my husband were allowed to go in the day before and decorate so we were able to put our spin on things. We had exclusive use of the venue which made things very personal. Staff were friendly and always ensuring we were ok. They listened to all our requirements from Inital booking till check out. Communication around the wedding was great with regular meetings to discuss our requirements. Breakfast the following morning with our guests was beautiful ! The in house DJ was fab ! Food was amazing and some guests told me it was the best buffet food they have ever had. Thank you so much to all staff at The Mill House Hotel for making our day so prefect ! The Mill House Hotel! From the start were very welcoming and patient when planning the wedding for my son and his then future wife. They are very professional and attention to detail with their planning meetings added with their expertise made life a lot easier. Nothing is too much trouble, they want their guests to have a fantastic day. The venue is intimate and beautiful with the added convenience of privacy. Stunning grounds with a period property and an amazing marque. Their suppliers are fantastic, the events lounge and the flowerstalk , we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Thank you! Attended my sisters wedding yesterday and was so impressed with this hotel! Inside the hotel is just lovely with beautiful fire places and cosy sitting areas. The gardens and surroundings are very picturesque! Loved the fountain, walkway and wooden Gazebo 😍 The hotel staff were 10/10 on the day and couldn’t do enough to help you! Nothing was ever a problem. The wedding meal was perfect!! 😍🤤 Every guest I had spoken to we’re very impressed with their meal! Portions were very generous! The marquee for the evening reception was set out beautifully! The fairy lights and chandeliers were just beautiful on a cold winters night!! I would highly recommend this beautifully quaint venue for your special day! I will definitely be back for a meal the next time I am down in the area! Just celebrated my daughters wedding yesterday 21 Feb. What an amazing day. Beautiful venue and the staff were fantastic and so attentive,nothing was too much trouble. The meal was excellent. We were married at The Mill House on 29th February 2020. Throughout the planning and the wedding itself the staff were brilliant and extremely helpful. We had approx 60 guests and had our ceremony in the garden room which accomodated everyone in an intimate setting. The gardens and marquee are lovely and provide a variety of photo opportunities if the weather is poor. The food was excellent and catered for everybody's tastes. Some of the rooms are slightly dated but quirky and comfortable. All of our guests were very complementary and we heard no grumbles whatsoever. The addition of the cocktail bar added an element of fun and even improved the dancing! Very good value for money. I cannot thank the staff at The Mill House Hotel enough for making our wedding day so special 💗 I loved how the team ensured that every idea I had could be incorporated in to our day, they tailored a package so that we could have the relaxed day that we wished for. Every question was answered and nothing was ever too much trouble. On our wedding day, all staff were welcoming. Guests commented on this and we will always be grateful for making the day run smoothly, keeping us calm and making it the best day possible. The venue is just beautiful, food and drink are amazing. We got married on the 16th February 2019 at the Mill House and had the most amazing day without a single hitch! We did not have to worry about a thing on the day. From the first time we visited the Mill House, we knew it was the venue we wanted for our wedding! And we couldn't resist opting for the winter deal, which is an amazing deal! The whole experience was wonderful and Kim, Mark, Jo, Emma, Mickayla and the rest of the staff were all so amazing, friendly and courteous, and wanted to ensure we had the perfect day. Some venues are too commercial and you are just another wedding, but . They were so accommodating, nothing was too much trouble and they responded to emails really quickly. The venue is so lovely and it was great to have everything in one place, and for the wedding to take over the whole venue. We made use of all the rooms - the Cottage suite for the ceremony, the Garden room for the wedding breakfast and the marquee for the evening reception and each room has its own charms. We had so many compliments about the venue, the accommodation, the food and the staff.
