Heskin Hall is a Tudor Manor House with beautiful interiors & its own extensive grounds set in lush countryside. .
We treat each couple as individuals and create events with you.
Our freshly cooked food is made using locally sourced ingredients. Our bar is reasonably priced.
A sweeping staircase, paneled rooms & log fire for winter are features inside. A lovely garden terrace with outdoor seating & fairly lights & lanterns for spring/summer.
Our Bar is reasonably priced - none of the ridiculous prices that take the edge off your day & get guests grumpy.
WOODLAND WEDDING/PHOTOGRAPHY AREA ( our "fairy dell"). We even have a Tipi supplier which can be sited in our grounds!
We discuss your ideas - our packages there to give you ideas & an understanding of likely costs.

- HHelen and Jon22/12/2017Great day Great dayWe had a daytime package at Heskin Hall in April which was perfect for us. The whole day was lovely and we were lucky enough to have beautiful weather. The grounds are beautiful and Lynne helped us in the lead up to the day with a variety of things from menu choices to table decorations. The perfect place to have a wedding! As soon as we drove up to the hall we knew this was the place place for our special day. Every thing ran smoothly throughout....the food was outstanding and we were blessed with a clear blue sky all day. I would not hesitate in recommending Heskin Hall as the place to get married. A beautiful day from beginning to end....and the perfect start to the rest of our lives together. An absolutely stunning place to get married and from start to finish Lynne was a great help in all the organisation and in running the day. As soon as we drove up to the hall we knew this was the place place for our special day. Every thing ran smoothly throughout....the food was outstanding and we were blessed with a clear blue sky all day. I would not hesitate in recommending Heskin Hall as the place to get married. My partner and I didn't look at any other venues because as soon as we'd left Heskin Hall after our first visit, it was the place for us. What impressed us about the Hall was it's unique atmosphere, beautiful historical appearance and the welcoming staff. Lynne was a brilliant help throughout all of our wedding planning and we were given personalised attention. She listened to our requests and went to great lengths to make the day personalised to us. Excellent clear and quick communication too when we were in contact outside of meeting in person. The food was also a very big factor in us falling in love with Heskin Hall. Delicious, homemade cuisine which catered for our tastes. The day went very smoothly, all the staff created a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere and we were able to enjoy taking it all in. Our guests were full of praise for our choice of venue and commented on how suited it was to our personalities. This reflects what an incredible place Heskin Hall is and it's been a big part in giving us treasured memories of our day. So many of our guests have told us what a fantastic day it was, and found the fish and chips and bacon barms an absolute treat!! Lynn outdid herself in every aspect, from the initial enquiry all the way up to the following day, pretty much clearing and boxing up all our event memorabilia (I know of some wedding venues where the wedding couple have had to stay until the early hours tidying up before being allowed to leave) . She was kind, honest, and helpful with everything to answering general queries that we had (like the normal itenirary of a wedding day) to referring us to local suppliers. The venue itself is so photogenic. We were lucky with the weather so the majority of our photos were in the picturesque grounds, which is handy. However, if weather is not your friend on the day, there are some beautiful rooms, with wood panneling, a lounge with open fireplaces and vintage chairs, old staircase. Plenty of photo opportunities all round. The food was delicious, and allergies were well catered for. Unfortunately myself and my husband only managed to eat the set afternoon meal, as during the evening, we were pulled sideways to see friends and family, but we have been told by family and friends this was equally good. Only one slight drawback, which prevents me putting a full 5 star, was the lighting of the rear car park, as revelers leaving towards the end of the night had to navigate their way to the cars in almost complete darkness. A couple of safety lights could easily remedy this. Apart from that, it was a pretty perfect day! We had the most wonderful day at Heskin Hall.
