Set in 574 acres of landscaped parkland, Hylands House boasts lavish, lovingly restored, ceremony & reception rooms, set to stun your guests together with its breath-taking views of the Essex countryside. The venue is filled with endless photo opportunities both inside the restored mansion house as well as the picturesque Pleasure Gardens. Host your ceremony for up to 100 guests within the ornate ceremony rooms of Hylands House and up to 300 guests for your seated meal and reception inside the contemporary Grand Pavilion. You also have the option to host a religious ceremony for up to 300 guests within the Grand Pavilion. For more intimate weddings, host your ceremony & seated meal for up to 80 guests within Hylands House and up to 120 guests for your evening reception. Hylands House and Grand Pavilion operates as a dry hire venue, providing you with the celebration spaces and furniture. This allows you the flexibility to choose your own contractors, including your own caterer, decorators and entertainment allowing you to create your own bespoke wedding. You may supply your own drinks, corkage free and operate from our bar using your designated contractor. The Events & Weddings Executives specialise in dry hire weddings and deliver impeccable service from beginning to end. Their dedication, flexibility and knowledge will certainly make your wedding planning stress free! It is hard to imagine a more memorable and unique setting for you and your guests!

Myself and Hope want to say a massive thank you to yourself and the entire Hylands team for there help and assistance on Thursday. You all made mine and Hopes day the best it could possibly be and more and made it an amazing and memorable day for everyone who attended! We also want to give a massive thank you to Sian for dealing with mine, Hope and the Bridesmaids last minute queries and issues, she handled it like a professional and made sure our day wasn't interrupted and kept things running smoothly. I got married at Hylands House in September and can not thank Elizabeth and her team any more! Elizabeth was absolutely amazing from start to finish and made the process extremely simple - She came to my rescue whenever I was having doubts or questions! The day ran extremely smoothly thanks to the staff and I can't thank you all enough! I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Hylands House to my friends and family! I got married at Hylands House in September and can not thank Elizabeth and her team any more! We chose Hylands House because of its beautiful grounds, and spectacular features within the building and on the outside for our wedding. It was the best decision we made, and the support we received from Thomas Woodards and Shan and her team on the day itself was phenomenal. Our guests commented on how they loved the venue, the support, and the staff were very courteous. We had support end-to-end and no request was too large for Hylands House to support. They communicated incredibly well and made the journey of getting married so easy for us. We absolutely loved our day and cannot recommend the venue and the staff more highly!We chose Hylands House because of its beautiful grounds, and spectacular features within the building and on the outside for our wedding.
