This is a place steeped in history, romantic, and timeless. Exceptional and peaceful.
This castle is a must-see...
We greatly appreciated the staff who took great care of us, always smiling and welcoming, a staff with a sense of hospitality who never hesitated to make themselves available to answer our requests and do their utmost to ensure we had a pleasant stay.
The manager is passionate, who devotes all his love to managing the castle and welcoming his guests. For example, among many others, he provided free bicycles for us to explore, and he himself created routes for us to explore the property.
We were charmed by all of this.
The only downside for us was the meal; indeed, €58 excluding drinks (water, coffee, or herbal tea) is a bit excessive, given that the cost of these drinks is just as excessive.
The aperitif is also not included. €12 per person, which includes a glass of wine with a few slices of sausage, olives, pot-cooked chips, and a melon and ham skewer. It was tasty but excessive. Especially since we thought it was included in the €58 price when we were told "we'll be waiting for you at 7:30 p.m. for an aperitif."
I think, to avoid any unpleasant surprises, I should clarify to guests what is and isn't included.
Despite this small detail, we recommend going there with your eyes closed and letting the staff guide you.
We ourselves have already planned to return this winter. This is a place steeped in history, romantic, and timeless. Exceptional and peaceful.
