Our wedding day was everything we had hoped for and 100 times more. We had a difficult year with illness earlier on and, during that time, we didn’t even know if we could go ahead with the wedding due to treatment dates, etc. However, after contacting Alan at the Kenmare Bay Hotel, he did everything possible to ensure that if the wedding went ahead, it would be everything we wanted. Not only did it turn out to be exactly that, but it also exceeded our expectations and became one of those perfect days. Alan and his team are the best in the business. The attention to detail for the ceremony, the room setup for the reception, the food on the day, the excellent coordination between Alan and our other suppliers—the photographer, our cake maker, etc.—and the absolute professionalism and warmth displayed by the entire team were second to none. We cannot recommend the Kenmare Bay Hotel highly enough and would give it five stars. So, if you are planning a wedding, give Alan at the Kenmare Bay Hotel a call, and you can be assured that your wedding will be in the safest of hands. What can I say from the moment we met Alan & the staff everything just fell into place. Nothing was a problem and they were on hand to help us organise and plan our very special day. From the chauffeur picking me up and transporting me to the church and then as newlyweds to the Venue it was top class. The staff were second to none and did everything for us. The food was outstanding everyone enjoyed it and even to date are still talking about it. Alan & his team at Kenmare Bay are outstanding and deserve all the recognition for a smashing venue. Where do we start... The Kenmare Bay Hotel was everything and more we could have asked for on our special Day. From the moment we viewed it back in February 2023, we knew it would be a good one. Alan and his team made the build-up to our Wedding so easy, nothing too big or too small was an issue. Alan was continually in touch with us over the past year or so and guided us every step of the way. The day of the wedding itself- it ran so smoothly and when we arrived at the hotel reception we were greeted by Alan and Sile and a glass of bubbles. From there on everything was such a pleasure. All of our family and friends have complimented the hotel from its customer service, and décor to the amazing meal that we received from the chefs in the kitchen. Everything was top-class. Alan is such a professional at what he does and is a great man for a laugh and a bit of craic along the way. We enjoyed our time with him. The kids club service that was an option in the hotel was also excellent, both our children and our nephews enjoyed two hours of kids' entertainment, while parents got to enjoy their meals. Knowing that they were being cared for, as well as entertained was very reassuring for us. Everything from start to finish during the weekend of our wedding was very special to us. It was an amazing weekend, and we have to credit the Kenmare Hotel for being a very special part of this weekend. Alan and all his staff went above and beyond for our wedding day on May 10th 2024. From the moment we first met with him we knew Kenmare Bay Hotel was the place for our wedding. Every member of staff was so kind and obliging and made all our guests feel so welcome. From the minute myself and David met Alan in the Kenmare Bay Hotel to view it as a possible wedding option, we knew it would be the place for us. The Kenmare Bay Hotel is all you can ask for in a wedding venue, from the amazing staff, the beautiful location, the delicious food, and everything else in between. Nothing is too much of a problem for Alan and his team; everyone always does their job with a smile on their face. The food was amazing, and there weren't any complaints from any of our guests. The whole experience was made so easy from the beginning, and that can only be due to the team at Kenmare, especially Alan. Carlos, the chauffeur, managed to keep us cool on what was the hottest day of the year so far, and that was no easy feat between nerves and the sun beating down on us! Housekeeping was amazing, even giving us a phone charger the morning after the wedding when we couldn't find ours. The only downside I can give is that we can only get married there once - there were tears when we were checking out after the weekend. It is the most amazing hotel from start to finish. As we were planning our 1st marriage, we hadn't a clue what to do or where to start, but we had Alan and all the Kenmare Bay hotel staff to help every step of the way. I can't thank Alan enough after all the emails and calls, even after hours. All my guests had an amazing time and want to return for our 1 year anniversary. The food was amazing, and the hotel was in a perfect location. From the rooms to the lodges, they were all perfect. The staff were amazing and all so helpful. Kids club was a brilliant touch, especially so all the parents could enjoy their dinner. I would highly recommend the Kenmare Bay. Can't wait to go back ...It is the most amazing hotel from start to finish.
