We had an unreal day! It was brilliant from start to finish, the attention to detail that the hotel had that we didn't even know we were getting, SURPRISE 🥰 And a brilliant surprise, we had GAA match tickets as our invites and the hotel had the table plan in GAA tickets and the Menus as programmes! The Food wad delicious and no shortage of it! The roof top bar is an added bonus for some town time and a few sneaky photos.The hotel have a courtesy car that they come and collect you, bring you to your church and then bring you onto the hotel, I think this is a fantastic idea I had Jessica Loftus for make up and it didn't budge, Niamh Lee did my hair and that was still perfect after being on the dance floor all night bopping to The Mad Ass Mules band and Dj Jao Comer ! Paparazzi was Marriage Multimedia and Swiftly yours- highly recommend both, both brillant and loads of patience. Flowers were done by the fantastic Mary Farragher ! Suits were Fallons in Tuam,the lads looked very dapper, Dresses from the One I Love in Ballinlough and the girls looked Stunning. The morning breakfast buffet was by Sweet Cheesus it was delicious and plenty for everyone. Cake was done by the talented Agnes Cakeland on Facebook. I hope I haven't forgotten any suppliers, it was an amazing day, and I would love to relive it again with exactly the same team 💝We had an unreal day! The ballroom was beautifully decorated, capturing the elegance and atmosphere we had envisioned. The staff worked tirelessly to ensure every detail was flawless, from the table settings to the ambiance of the room. The food was another highlight – our guests are still raving about it! To Damien, Nicole and the whole team at Loughrea hotel, From the bottom of our hearts we wish to thank you all so much for the help, support and professionalism you all provided to us and to our family and friends on our wedding day. From the lead up to the big day with your endless support and knowledge to providing us with ease of mind and security on our wedding day. The hotel looked absolutely amazing to the new carpets and revamp of the hotel to the exceptional food and service the staff gave on the day, nothing went unnoticed. Guests are still talking about the fun they had with Dj. Scruffy Duffy from the moment they walked into the room to the moment they walked out. The photos and videos speak for themselves. Having our Day Two on the rooftop bar was top class. It made our day private and secluded from the hotel, we felt like we were abroad. Food again was amazing for day 2 and each guest had comfort in knowing they didn't need to drive anywhere for the weekend and just park up and relax. Some guests really made the most of this and chilled and made use of the spa while they were there; as did we and this relaxation was just what we needed. This is everything we hoped for and dreamt of and the Loughrea Hotel has made our dream wedding come true. I have been singing the praises of The Loughrea Hotel & Spa to anyone who would listen since our first meeting with Nicole a year before our wedding. We felt so confident in Nicole and her team. Her relaxed and professional manner was the perfect fit for us as a couple, and she was always quick to respond to any query and to give helpful advice. I totally trusted the team at the Loughrea Hotel & Spa and they made our wedding planning process easy and stress-free. I enjoyed my wedding day fully from start to finish. I never worried for a second about the decor, food, service providers, timeline… anything! The relationship we had built with Nicole and the amazing service provided by Damien and the entire staff of the hotel allowed me to relax completely. This was the best gift I could have asked for on my wedding day. We were treated like royalty on the day, and since our wedding we have heard countless positive comments from our guests about the venue. The food was simply excellent! Special requests were catered for without hesitation, and everything was tasty, fresh and warm. Especially considering our large number of guests, everyone was so impressed with the food provided from the beautiful hot and cold canapes at the drinks reception, to the exquisite meal, and the delicious late-night bites. There is lots of space around the ballroom, and many of our guests appreciated the opportunity to use the drinks reception area throughout the night. We had a sweet cart, tayto wall, wishing well, centrepieces of choice, fabulous large pieces of decor, crisps sandwiches in the residents bar, everything we could have wanted provided by the venue. I had very little to do and I really appreciated this in the days leading up to the wedding. In terms of value and service, we feel that The Loughrea Hotel & Spa is a true gem! I would recommend any couple to sit down with Nicole and see what they have on offer. Compared to other packages and venues that we researched, we were impressed from the start with how flexible and accommodating this venue could be. We cannot recommend the Loughrea Hotel & Spa enough for weddings. From day one there could not be enough done for us. Nicole and her team are absolutely amazing and nothing was ever too much trouble. The little touches were so lovely such as the letter Nicole wrote us when she was not there for our menu tasting night. I had an email almost every day to send to Nicole and she always put my mind at ease about things I was stressing about - she is a dream to deal with. The day of the wedding from the get go everything just ran so smoothly - from getting ready in the hotel until the time we went to bed the staff were outstanding! The food was amazing and everybody at our wedding commented on that. Nothing dragged on and our band were ready to start just after 10pm which people said they could not get over. We stayed in the hotel the second night too and we had half of our day 2 on the rooftop where we had music, food and drinks. There was plenty of food to go round and was absolutely beautiful. There was a hurling match on which people wanted to watch and although it was only through streaming it we could watch it, this was no hassle to the hotel who got it up for us. It was a pleasure to deal with the Loughrea Hotel & Spa and if you are in any doubt of where to have your wedding, we would 100% recommend you to not skip going for a look at this hotel.We cannot recommend the Loughrea Hotel & Spa enough for weddings. Everything from the moment we booked Loughrea was smooth sailing. We had to change our date a couple of times due to living overseas and covid and nothing was an issue with Nicole. Every question we asked was answered and nothing was too much. Nicole was so helpful with everything and knew exactly what she was talking about. Any email I sent was promptly responded too by Nicole, and any advise she had was given. I want to give Damien a special mention also, when we went to him for our day 2 party to change things on the day he sorted it straight away. The hotel, the staff especially Nicole and Damien were amazing and we would 100% recommend Loughrea hotel & spa as a wedding venue to our friends and family. The only thing we are sad about is that our day is over, we would love to do it all over again.Everything from the moment we booked Loughrea was smooth sailing. From Day 1 you were the most responsive and easy person to work with and you always answered my questions with such 90% of the reason we chose Loughrea Hotel and Spa was you. To every member of staff who was there for us on the day, Thank you so much. A massive shout-out to Stephen, he is an asset to the hotel and such a gentleman. The entire bridal party had the best craic with him and all day he made sure we had what we needed. Anthony the bar manager was such a great sport from the food tasting to day 2, making us cocktail after cocktail and making sure we were happy. There are people whose names I have forgotten, The lovely young bar waitress on Friday night and the young man who was serving us on the rooftop on day 2 and it was only his first weekend if I remember correctly. Absolutely everything was above and beyond what we expected. The food and service was sensational. The staff were unbelievably good and helpful. Nicole was always there when I needed her. She went out her way to help us with every single thing we wanted and needed. I couldn't fault a thing. The Lough Rea Hotel and Spa was without question the ideal venue for our wedding. The staff were amazing. The food was sensational. The service was brilliant. Nicole our wedding co ordinator was absolutely amazing. She pulled out all the stops to help give us our dream day. I just want to thank you for everything you done for us for our wedding on the 26th May. Myself and Michael truly enjoy ourselves and couldn't have asked for a better night. Food was outstanding and the service was excellent. The venue looked beautiful and how we would have wanted it. Would recommend everyone to have their wedding there.
