Portable Appliance (or PAT) testing is a requirement by law. It involves the testing of all electrical equipments to be used at your event that requires a mains supply.
It ensures that all appliances are electrically safe to use and this is to comply with The Electricity at Work Act 1989
PAT tested equipment is also needed to satisfy the requirements of the DJ's insurance company.
