Describe your typical process with a couple.
Initial enquiry is usually by email or telephone, I always try to make telephone contact with the couple (or organiser) to get a feel for how the planning is going.
At this stage I need the collection address, ceremony and reception location to prepare a quote for the couple. I reserve the date for 2 weeks.
Once a price is agreed then the deposit is paid and the date is confirmed as being booked.
Then 2 month - 6 weeks before hand I'll meet with the couple to have a look at their planned route for their wedding journeys and we will firm up timings for the day.
A week before I will either email or telephone to check that nothing has changed in the plans.
I will also recheck the route to make sure that there are no diversions or delays that we are likely to encounter.
