Description

Set along a beautiful winding lane in the heart of the West Sussex countryside, Brookfield Barn is a wedding venue for all seasons. Our large purpose built barn boasts stunning lakeside views and was designed with weddings in mind. Created using traditional techniques, it provides a rustic setting with integrated modern features including music system, atmospheric lighting and the option for web streaming the ceremony, meaning any guests unable to make the wedding can still be part of your big day. In addition the high windows and bi-fold doors overlooking the extensive grounds help to supply plenty of natural light. If you choose to hold your ceremony here and are blessed with good weather, then you may prefer to use the gorgeous outdoor arbour which looks directly over the lake, giving you the perfect romantic back drop for saying your vows. During the warmer months our large terrace provides a glorious sun trap for you and your guests, while our wood burning stoves and atmospheric lighting provide a cosy ambience, even when the weather turns a little colder. We limit ourselves to 105 weddings in a year to ensure we keep the venue in tip top condition. We have a few remaining dates in 2020 and are taking viewings and bookings for 2021 and beyond. I would like to thank you all once again for all your hard work in making our daughter's wedding day such a specal day for us all. Everything seemed to run very smoothly and if there were any problems then we weren't aware of them. This enabled us to enjoy a worry free day and to enjoy seeing friends and family. Our guests have commented on the relaxed atmosphere of the venue as well as the beautiful grounds. It was nice to be able to stay overnight at the venue and then to meet the immediate families over breakfast. A cooked breakfast was a real treat and I especially enjoyed the yoghurt oats pot. I was most impressed by the efficient clearing up that had taken place. Having everything packed away in the container made collecting it and putting it all in the car so easy. Thank you for helping to make Katie and Rick's day a special day for us all to remember. We first saw Brookfield Barn when it was a building site so booking it was a bit of a gamble but one that has paid off in leaps and bounds. Not only is it a stunning venue that makes great use of space and flow which was perfect for a large wedding like ours, but it has that wonderful family run feel about it which meant we really felt like we were getting a personal service, and that the team were directly invested in us having a great wedding. At no point were there any hidden extras we had to pay for or did they ever say no to our ideas and they were great at encouraging us and supporting us to make sure our reception ran as smoothly as possible. They provided more than just a venue but a seamless behind the scenes coordination service throughout the day – we didn’t have to worry about a thing! By far the nicest Venue we had seen!By far the nicest Venue we had seen!
Lots of people asked us why we chose Brookfield Barn for our wedding as we weren't exactly local and the answer was simply it was by far the nicest venue we had seen (and we did a lot of research)! It's nicely tucked away in the countryside but still close to main roads and towns (we had a family breakfast at Bills in Horsham the day after which was lovely). You can choose to have your ceremony inside or outside, we opted for inside with the windows open and the views were stunning. There's also lots of space on the patio for garden games and a few of the family brought their golf clubs to play a couple of holes in the evening! The whole team were amazing at setting up and ensuring everything ran on time. Even in the planning stages beforehand they made us feel totally at ease and gave us some helpful suggestions for things we were unsure of like seating plans etc. They also provide an online wedding planning questionnaire to fill out as you go through the planning process, which I admit was a little daunting at first, but was a complete life saver closer to the day as I felt safe in the knowledge that everything had been thought of and meant I could just relax and enjoy the day! We got married here on Friday. We fell in love with Brookfield Barn as soon as we saw it! The venue is absolutely stunning! Mark, Becky, Hannah and the whole team were amazing from start to finish. The bar staff were brilliant. Although we had rain this didn't effect the day at all. Everything ran smoothly throughout the whole day, the extra touches that the team organised (signs, postbox, decorations, lights) all made the day that little bit more special. On behalf of myself, my husband and our family and friends I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone at Brookfield Barn for making our day so beautiful. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a venue with that extra wow factor! We had so many compliments on how lovely the venue was.
