Description

Brunswick House has become a central London landmark. What started as LASSCO's architectural antiques shop within a wrecked Georgian mansion, has evolved into a wedding venue. Across the Thames from Belgravia stands a mansion, a magnificent reminder of 18th Century Vauxhall and its pleasure gardens. The house is now home to the LASSCO architectural emporium and the Brunswick House restaurant. Guests enter through the grand stone portico leaving the roar of London's traffic behind. Inside its lofty Georgian interior the panelled rooms are packed with salvaged curiosities, magnificent chimneypieces, brilliant cut glazed entranceways, sparkling chandeliers and noble colonnades. Reclaimed furniture and vintage paraphernalia jostle with an eclectic display of beautiful antiques in each room. Brunswick House can be hired exclusively for a truly memorable and unique wedding reception, hosting 100 diners with catering provided by the acclaimed chefs of The Brunswick House restaurant. Followed by dancing in atmospheric 17th Century cellars.

Just a quick email (pending a proper note!) to say thank you so much for all your help and organisation over the past few days, weeks and months. Everything went incredibly smoothly on Saturday and we had such a wonderful time - it was so good to know you were there keeping everything going! The food and drink were delicious and the venue so beautiful as always - everyone loved it and we were very happy to bask in the reflected glory!! It went exactly as we had hoped so thank you for helping make sure it ran so smoothly both before and on the day of the wedding. Philip and I would like to thank you so much for engineering a wonderful evening on Saturday. Everyone had a fantastic time and had nothing but praise for both the venue and food. We thought all the courses were excellent, in keeping with our experience in the restaurant. Bottom line, the food, the wine, flowers, service and ambience were all great and could not have been improved upon, so please thank everyone involved.Philip and I would like to thank you so much for engineering a wonderful evening on Saturday. The place looked amazing and felt so relaxed, and then the drink and food was all so delicious. Your team were also fantastic, as I’m sure you know! The food was superb (great reviews of the lamb and the cheese- not to mention the amazing bacon rolls) and the room was dressed with such class (thank you for taking care of the flowers). The staff were amazing, Patrizia and zoltan were great at communicating and the others were really helpful, attentive and pleasant. Thank you both for all your patience on the run up and for being super helpful with the piano/speaker and all the rest. Overall the guests had a great time and couldn’t believe how lovely the room and venue were. We will defiantly encourage our friends and colleagues to hold events at Brunswick house.
