Description

We offer great versatility, with either a civil ceremony in our wonderful barns or can facilitate a marriage or blessing in the charming 12th century chapel of St Swithun's next door. An elegant bridal suite is available for changing in before and after the ceremony and the Drawing Room in the Manor is also available for photography of small family groups. If the weather is fine, most couples want to make use of the stunning views of the valley in which the estate is located, with no sight or sound of road noise, it really is idyllic. The 18th century barns have high ceilings with good acoustics and been recently redecorated with light exposed beams, a great dance floor and stage with separate access. An entire catering barn can be set up for your wedding breakfast on either round tables or trestles, there are full production kitchens, and another area to be for the ceremony and bar and a convivial lawned courtyard, smart ladies and gents facilities and plenty of parking on site. Combe is a very special place and the Barns have the Wow factor to impress all your guests.

For exclusive, dry hire, with no VAT or corkage charged, there are no "hidden extras". Prices vary depending on time of year. We only have one wedding per week at Combe Manor so you have plenty of access to the venue for setting up before and clear up afterwards. We have 6 preferred caterers who we would put you in touch with, with a variety of styles and budgets. For bringing your own caterer on site, there is a surcharge of £150-200 (payable by the caterer). Please contact us for more details.

This venue was miles above all others we saw. Nothing was too much for David, Sybille and the other staff. It was the first venue we looked at and after that nothing else compared to it. It stood out as one of the most beautiful and exclusive locations we could have asked for. We could put our own personal touches and sybille was there to make sure everything went smoothly on the day. Truly the best weekend/wedding ever and our guests agreed too. This venue was miles above all others we saw. Nothing was too much for David, Sybille and the other staff. It was the first venue we looked at and after that nothing else compared to it. It stood out as one of the most beautiful and exclusive locations we could have asked for. We could put our own personal touches and sybille was there to make sure everything went smoothly on the day. Truly the best weekend/wedding ever and our guests agreed too.

Combe manor, more specifically David could not have done more to make our wedding day the best it could possibly be. The personal, relaxed approach that allowed us to create our own unique day against the most beautiful backdrop was exactly what we wanted and struggled to find anywhere else. St Swithuns hosted our ceremony and we were made to feel welcome through all of our committal services too. You would not be disappointed here!!Combe manor, more specifically David could not have done more to make our wedding day the best it could possibly be. The personal, relaxed approach that allowed us to create our own unique day against the most beautiful backdrop was exactly what we wanted and struggled to find anywhere else. A fantastic experienceA fantastic experience
We were so pleased that we booked our wedding at Combe Manor. The venue was beautiful and in the most perfect setting. They were so flexible and let us have whatever we wanted in terms of caterer and decorations. The sound system and microphones for speeches were perfect, the lighting was spot on and the kitchen facilities for the caterer were ample. The gardens and house were lovely for photographs. The best thing about the venue was that they only do 1 wedding a week and you have access to the venue from the Wednesday of the week for decorating it yourself. It did not feel like a “wedding factory” like some other barns in the area do. I would definitely recommend them. We were so pleased that we booked our wedding at Combe Manor.
