An amazing nightAn amazing night
We had The Devon Hotel booked as our evening venue. The whole team were amazing, especially Ben, who made sure our afternoon and evening went without a hitch. “Our wedding - our best day ever!”“Our wedding - our best day ever!”
We had our wedding reception here in February and I can not put in words how great and how thankful we are to Craig and all of his team (including Heinz). The day flowed so well, even though it was pouring with rain! Plan B was put into action without us even needing to be informed! I have been to so many wedding reception when I have left hungry - there was no chance of that at the Devon Hotel - the food was really good and there was no shortage. From the set up and table décor to the chair covers and backdrop it was all so smooth. Our honeymoon suite was lovely and new and breakfast was great too! The food and service were first class and nothing was too much trouble. We felt cared for and supported throughout the day and nothing was too much trouble. Our Wedding DayOur Wedding Day
We held our wedding and wedding reception here 3 weeks ago. The day was absolutely fantastic, the staff couldn't do more to help and the service was excellent. The food was better than we could of hoped for and all our guests commentated on how great everything was. Would highly recommend this venue. An amazing wedding receptionAn amazing wedding reception
We had our wedding reception at the Devon hotel and can highly recommend it. Craig was our wedding organiser and did an amazing job. The Devon hotel went above and beyond to make our day go smoothly and how we wanted it. We were concerned that there was another wedding happening at the same time. We needn't have worried as the two weddings were handled so well at no point were we even aware they were there. Craig really helped with the planning and timings of the day so that everything ran smoothly and in a timely fashion. They had a great attention to detail and the wedding breakfast was laid out with care and looked amazing. The food was exceptional and many of our guests commented. From the moment we made an enquiry about having our wedding at The Devon Hotel, until the day after our wedding the service we got from Ross Hamilton and his team was outstanding. At our first meeting his professional knowledge and friendly approach put us immediately at our ease. He helped us lay out a schedule for the day, and gave us a detailed, no hidden extras quote. The attention to detail, even those we hadn't thought of, was no trouble. My food intolerances were met at every level too, with no fuss. On the day, Ross and his team met the cake maker, florist, registrar etc. on our behalf. The Regency suite was set exactly the way we planned, and all the little favours, decorations we had brought were laid out for us too. They ensured the whole day ran smoothly without being intrusive. I stayed the night before and we had a bridal suite the night after, the rooms are decorated to a high level as well. We had our wedding reception at The Devon Hotel on Friday 3rd July and couldn't have asked for better. Ross was absolutely fantastic from planning to executing and nothing was too much trouble. Ross and the team ensured that the day went perfectly, so accommodating with fantastic service and excellent food. We couldn't have asked for better. “Top notch!! ”“Top notch!! ”
I got married here Saturday, and I don't think there is any way you could give a negative review, from the initial meeting and booking of the wedding we have been looked after, Craig the wedding planner has been exceptional, and nothing seemed to be too much trouble, (although our demands were very small!!) I arrived on Saturday obviously nervous about the upcoming nuptials, and Craig greeted me, showed me the rooms and explained how everything was going to work, his manner is such that he calms you down and outs you at ease, which is what I needed!! The hotel looked after us beautifully, the rooms, the food, the hospitality, everything was perfect, somebody usually finds something to moan about, but not this time!! everybody commented on the amazing food and how.good everything was and how well it flowed. Booked our wedding at this venue and maybe a 3* but definitely 5* all the way. Made to feel so special and our wedding went off without a hitch. Customer service is excellent and nothing is too much trouble. Good old fashioned customer service. Food excellent from our wedding meal to breakfast and snacks. Ross Hamilton , hotel manager was the perfect host to everyone and was on hand to make sure everything was covered and perfect from the fist time we met him in January 2017 until we left the day after our wedding in May 2017. We had many guests that came from various parts of the country and they were so impressed with the perfect venue we had chosen for our special day and couldn't believe how well everything was catered for. We had a few guests with special dietary requirements and they were catered for with no problem. If you want the perfect wedding with the perfect setting and the perfect venue the it has to be the Devon Hotel. Our son had his wedding at the devon hotel on 25th July. It was perfect from start to finish. The ceremony was beautiful, followed by an amazing reception, the food was delicious and plentiful, the staff were attentive and always on hand if needed. Ross, the hotel wedding organiser was amazing and always there in the background ensuring everything was running smoothly. We would highly recommend the Devon hotel as a wedding venue and only wish we could do it all again!!!
