Forbes of Kingennie Country Resort is the perfect place for the Scottish wedding of your dreams. The resort’s Inglesmaldie events suite, Buddon Burn ceremony building, Woodland and Waterside Lodges and Leannan Boathouse can provide everything a bride and groom would wish for from a wedding venue, including outstanding views, luxury guest accommodation and spectacular honeymoon accommodation. The Inglesmaldie events suite, decorated in a contemporary style, is an idyllic location for a waterside wedding, it holds up to 150 guests during the day and up to 200 at night. The balcony of the event suite overlooks the resort's extensive fishing ponds, beautiful landscaped grounds, and has a backdrop of the rolling Angus countryside, making for fantastic views and photographs. Our Buddon Burn ceremony building, named after the Buddon Burn that runs underneath it, holds up to 120 ceremony guests and is a beautiful and original space with floor to ceiling windows that let in an abundance of natural light and look out onto the fishing lochans and resort grounds. If you are looking for a more intimate wedding with just a few guests then Kingennie Court can accommodate up to 25 guests for the wedding meal and provide your own personal chef and waiting staff to prepare and serve your meal, making your Wedding day truly exclusive.

Our Summer Package runs from April - September; Sunday-Friday 60 day guests and an additional 40 evening guests is £4400 Saturdays 80 day guests and an additional 40 evening guests is £5740. Our Winter Package runs from October-March; Sunday-Friday 60 day guests and an additional 40 evening guests £3980. Saturdays 80 day guests and an additional 40 evening guests is £5180. All prices are valid until 31st December 2019. If you are booking a wedding one or to years in advance you should expect a year on year increase of up to 5% per year. The best day of our lives. The best day of our lives.
We had our wedding here on the 20th of October 2018 and it was the best day of our lives. The events staff were amazing, especially Sandy and Jodie and everyone had the best time. We have had lots of people mention how great the staff were and how delicious the food was. A lot of our friends and family stayed in the lodges and they were all raving about their stays. We stayed in the boathouse for 2 nights and we loved it! The whole venue is just stunning and the brilliant staff make it an amazing place to spend a few days. We ate in the restaurant and bar as well over the 3 days we were at the venue and every visit was brilliant. We also had a few dogs staying and they were very pleased with how welcoming the venue was to them. ;) Couldn't have picked a better place to have our wedding. We got married here this weekend what can I say ... the whole experience was absolutely amazing. Your staff are fantastic every single one of them. Your food is amazing every single person commented on how good it was . The setting is stunning . We had an amazing time the best day of our life’s and we were made to feel so relaxed even on the morning of the wedding and leading up to it . Your wedding team are fantastic I think it was Jody her name was who looked after us the most she is a credit to you very professional and made sure our day went without a hitch. We can’t thank her enough . It was perfect . Lodges were beautiful and very comfortable . Thank you all so much .
