Description

Set in beautiful countryside, Forrester Park is a converted barn with both indoor and outdoor ceremony areas. The rural setting makes a perfect backdrop for photographs. We offer a great variety of wedding formats, from sit-down wedding banquets to barbecues and buffets. Our twilight weddings, with a later ceremony and reception, are also very popular. If you do not wish to have your ceremony with us we are equally happy simply to host your celebration party. Our brochures will give you some idea of the different options we can offer. However, we don't specify a set format or a minimum spend so you can just let us know what you would like and we will be glad to put your day together. Alternatively, we will be delighted to use our many years of experience to advise you and help put together a package. Above all, we are a flexible and friendly venue and will help to make sure that you get exactly what you are looking for on your big day. Our wedding co-ordinator, Alex Bruce, will be happy to discuss your wedding and answer any questions you may have. She and her team would also love to show you round our beautiful venue. We also hold regular wedding open evenings when you can see our venue set up for you to picture your perfect day, enjoy complimentary fizz and canapés and have a chat with the wedding team. Our next open evening is on Thursday 23rd January 2020 from 5pm to 9pm. You can simply turn up but if you would like to reserve a personal appointment to discuss your wedding please contact us. Our wedding was truly magical thanks to Katie and all the staff. Katie ensured everything went to plan and was always available to answer any questions. The food was amazing and we have had several comments from our guests about how much they enjoyed the food. The wine waiters were constantly topping up glasses at the meal and the whole dinner service was fantastic. Absolutely beautiful day, was a privilege to share it with Christopher and Mary. The food was on another level, so delicious and hot. The staff couldn’t have done more. The roast chicken was probably the best I have ever had. The setting was so romantic, the staff were amazing and it was just a perfect day from start to finish! Well done to all the staff at Forrester golf and country club, and congratulations to my lovely cousin and his bride.Absolutely beautiful day, was a privilege to share it with Christopher and Mary. What a fantastic venue for a wedding, my daughter and son-in-law got married in October 2018. Organisation was fantastic, led by Katie, and I could not fault a single thing. Helpful, friendly, hard working to make our daughter Belle and her husband Grant’s wedding day perfect. Thank you seems too simple !! But we are truly thankful. Could not have asked for more!!!! We had a twilight wedding and it was everything we had hoped for and more. Katie and her team were absolutely superb, nothing was too much trouble. The service was first class and the food (BBQ) was divine, all of our guests commented on how lovely it was. We didn’t want pomp, we wanted casual and relaxed and that is exactly what we had thanks to Katie and Forrester Park. Will definitely be recommending to others who are planning their big day.Could not have asked for more!!!! We had a twilight wedding and it was everything we had hoped for and more. Katie and her team were absolutely superb, nothing was too much trouble. The service was first class and the food (BBQ) was divine, all of our guests commented on how lovely it was.
