Glewstone Court makes for a breathtaking wedding venue during any season, this beautiful Grade II Listed Georgian Manor House can be exclusively yours throughout your entire wedding celebrations. The splendour of the country house and its surrounding beauty is an amazing backdrop for all weddings. Relax on the lawns in the Summer beneath the spectacular 300 year old Cedar of Lebanon and sip Champagne in the Mediterranean courtyard. In the Winter cosy log fires and candle lit rooms radiate intimate warmth with seasonal decorations creating a magical atmosphere. A real home from home with staff dedicated to making every moment special and unforgettable.
Glewstone Court is licensed for civil ceremonies and offers bespoke wedding packages as no two weddings are the same. Each menu is individually tailored to suit the couple, crafting an indulgent wedding breakfast in the award-winning restaurant, where the food is locally sourced, prepared and presented to the incredibly high standard that Glewstone is renowned for.
Whether you are planning an intimate wedding ceremony, or a large wedding reception or wish to arrange for a marquee on the lawns, Events Manager Amy is on hand throughout the entire process to help create and plan the perfect country house wedding, bringing everything together on the day to create a truly memorable event.

Myself and Claire had our wedding reception here and I couldn’t possibly say enough to compliment their service! From the pre wedding prep and consultations with Amy to the treatment we received on the day with Sam and the rest of the staff everything was perfect. No request is too much to ask and everything runs so smoothly. The staff will make you feel like you are the only bride and groom they have ever had. We couldn't have asked for any more and the day was faultless, everything was how I imagined it and more and I couldn't get over how beautiful every room was. We have had so many people praise the food and all the staff too. Nothing was too much trouble. I could not give enough compliments. From the first time we met Amy (wedding co-ordinator) she made sure that our wedding was exactly as we envisaged it, recommending suppliers, giving us tips & keeping in touch with us throughout the planning period. She has the perfect balance of being relaxed about your day but also being so organised that nothing will get forgotten & the day will run smoothly. Every time we visited the venue we were made to feel so welcome & this continued for our wedding weekend. All of our guests commented on how well looked after they were by all the professional staff, nothing was too much trouble & everything was so organised on the day. It was wonderful that we had the venue exclusively for us for the whole weekend, which all our guests loved. We had an intimate wedding of 40 guests with a relaxed style bbq buffet for our wedding breakfast & meat/cheese platters for our evening food. We also sampled their formal dining menu when we ate together as a family on the night before the wedding. The food across the whole weekend was delicious. Finally, the package that we agreed was competitively priced in comparison to other venues we visited in the area. The venue was fantastic and as it was a wonderfully sunny day we were able to make the most of the stunning grounds. The ceremony room and dining rooms were decorated beautifully. All of the food we had chosen was superb from the canapés to the wedding breakfast. We had lots of compliments on the guest rooms and the bridal suite was enormous, perfect for getting ready the morning of the big day. We had a large wedding (125 guests all day) and it was absolutely the best day of our lives! We cannot thank Amy, Sam and everyone at Glewstone Court enough for making our wedding day so perfect - turning our vision into reality. Having such a big wedding was daunting, but from the moment we decided to have our wedding at Glewstone Court to the day itself, Amy and the team were thorough, professional and everything went like clockwork. Every detail was thought through and the staff worked incredibly hard to ensure there were no hitches on the day (of which there weren’t). They were extremely good with liaising with our other wedding suppliers, so in the days running up to the wedding we didn’t have anything to worry about. We had our drinks reception in the courtyard and lawns in the surroundings of the beautiful Georgian Manor house, which was immaculate both inside and out, followed by wedding breakfast and disco in the marquee. They was so helpful and they made us all feel so welcome!!! We had an Alice in wonderland theme and the decor and the view all fitted so well. We got married outside in front of the orchard it was absolutely stunning and talking of stunning the food oh my god was soooo delicious, so many flavours it was Devine!. If your looking for a venue that is welcoming, family friendly and you want to feel at home with being professional this is the place to get married, if I could afford to do it I’d get married here every weekend over and over again! It was really the most magical day ever, thank you glewstone court! Your forever hold a place in mine and Jason’s heart!!!So we got married this year at glewstone court and wow it was just amazing!!! It is a perfect venue for a relaxed wedding. It is a lovely country house hotel with an amazing restaurant, lovely big but cosy lounge with big squashy sofas and open fires. Perfect for our winter wedding. Amy & Sam, their team and family take all of the stresses and strains away from you. They are so professional but very approachable and flexible. My wife had visited the hotel when her friend owned it and always said how lovely it was. Now when time came to find a venue this was on the top of the list. We couldn't of asked for more from Amy and Sam. They both made us feel at ease and relaxed as soon as we started our booking with them. We couldn't recommend them highly enough for anyone looking for the perfect venue. Its criminal not to give this more than 5* but to us it was not the rating that mattered but the memories made. Nothing was too much trouble in the run up to the wedding and everything was handled very smoothly. Both Amy and Sam are amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. The day itself was absolutely incredible, the feel of the venue, the food and the weather ! Everything was taken care of, allowing us to enjoy the most amazing day ! We nearly didn’t go due to me being ill but as soon as we pulled up we knew that this was somewhere special where we would have our day. A truly spectacular venue in the heart of Herefordshire. From the first meeting we knew that Amy, with her expertise and the fabulous team behind her, meant that Glewstone Country Court was to be the best place to have our wedding. They put us at ease straight away and walking into the venue felt like we were walking into a family home. Nothing was too much trouble. Despite a short turnaround of six months, Amy was helpful with ideas and comments, making our day enjoyable and stress free. The flexibility Glewstone gave us was amazing, allowing us to have our own unique feel throughout our wedding weekend. From extra beds in the bridal suite the night before for a true girls sleep over, complete with hot chocolate and pizza, getting my husband’s favourite tipple for the bar and sound checks for our ceremony singer the night before, everything was dealt with swiftly, smoothly and professionally by Amy, Sam and their team. We would highly recommend going to see one of Hereford’s best kept secrets. They made our day stress free and one we would like to do all over again.
