Description

We specialise in the more alternative and unconventional and give a real Bohemian and festival flavour to all of our events. We love colour and will bring a real sense of uniqueness and humour to your occasion. We’re situated in a sheltered stunning valley near the village of Broadhembury in the Blackdown Hills. Our lovely flock of sheep will be your only spectators. We organise everything you need. The venue is yours for setting up from the Wednesday; guests are welcome to camp from the Friday evening until the Monday morning. We also have our own beautifully furnished bell tents to hire for you or your guests. We have our own marquee which you can hire, or we can source you any other type of marquee you like. We also have a funky barn with a fully running bar which you can either run yourselves, or we can run a licenced bar for you. We also have a large bbq area and a small kitchen. Facilities include showers for campers. We support local caterers and all of our food is sourced from local and free range producers. We can do as much or as little catering as you like. You are very welcome to sort out your own food if you prefer. We can help you to find the perfect entertainment. Jugglers, clowns, story tellers, children’s craft areas, poi, drummers, musicians, whatever you want, we can get it! You can play your music as late as you like, but it will have to be turned down at 1am to stop the sheep getting grumpy! You and your runny mascara will not be horribly exposed at midnight with the sudden silence and bright light experience!

We charge for the venue and then it is up to you what you would like to add on. We have our own tents etc should you wish for hire. Anything else you want we can get for you if you like, or you can source it yourselves. We can also cater for you, or again, you can do your own. We have LOADS of choice !

Fiona and Gary made our wedding the best day. Very relaxed atmosphere helped us with the planning and made sure nothing was forgotten on the day. Wow what a day! Best venue ever!! Fiona and Gerry are exactly the kind of people you want to help you with your wedding. Laid back, quirky and most of all FUN! We have had the least stressful time planning our wedding all because of the reassurance, help and guidance from them. Thank you for making our magical day exactly how we imagined and wanted it to be. All friends and family absolutely adored the scenery and enjoyed themselves immensely. Your venue is amazing and the image of everyone gathered around the fire with the bar, marquee and oak tree lit up and decorated was so magical and will stay with us for life.
