Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?

We held a wedding in 2018 which was an exclusive use event - they booked the whole hotel for 3 days (mid-week) and they really went to town on the whole experience. We held cocktail masterclass, spa days, team building & kids entertainers in our courtyard - everything you can think of! On the wedding day the family were just over the moon, they felt like that they had hired their own manor house for a few days and it felt like home. We still get a Christmas card every year - like Hotel du Vin is now part of their family! Bless them!

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

We had a wedding where the wedding favours were printed pictures of that person and the bride/groom on a random fun adventure they had had over the years - i thought it was such a lovely personal touch!

What is your venue's most unique feature?

We are like a little secret hide out in the heart of the city - our large courtyard has a fully retracting roof which is absolutely perfect for the sunshine!

What part of your business are you most proud of?

The way we make our customer feel, it sounds extremely cheesy (grab a bag!) but we just love knowing that we are making a difference to peoples lives.
