Hotel Felix is a beautiful Victorian Villa with contemporary wings which house our 52 individually styled bedrooms. With stylish interiors, beautifully landscaped gardens, exquisite food and elegant reception rooms, we’re sure it’ll be love at first sight! You have the option of having your wedding ceremony and reception in our private reception rooms (on the first floor of the original Victorian building), or in our romantic gazebo set in our picturesque grounds. The first floor with its interconnecting reception rooms offer stunning views over our gardens, providing a wonderful space for an intimate and unforgettable wedding. For larger wedding receptions, we offer a stylish Marquee option and for guests who wish to dance the night away, a disco is held in our private function room Hyperion adjoining your marquee. We have an outstanding reputation for creating inspired, bespoke wedding menus catering for all tastes and dietary requirements. Our professional and dedicated Wedding Coordinator and Events team will be on hand to create the wedding of your dreams!

Our weddingOur wedding
We had our wedding there on Saturday 17th September. The staff at the hotel were excellent from start to finish. My wife stayed the night before and called the duty manager at night as there was a lot to finish off. The duty manager called some of his team and they helped out wherever they could. Overall the Felix team bent over backwards to accommodate us and make the wedding flow smoothly. Thank you for all your efforts team.We had our wedding there on Saturday 17th September. Daniel and I were so pleased with all the hard work and effort you and all the staff at the hotel put into making our day so special. We had such a wonderful day and the weather was absolutely perfect! We really did feel we had made the perfect choice in choosing to have our wedding at your hotel and many of the guests commented on what a lovely venue it was for our wedding. … During the wedding breakfast the food was delicious and served on time and hot and each and every plate was extremely well presented. The waiters/waitresses were very competent and friendly and served ourselves and our guests well keeping wine glasses topped up and the champagne for the toasts were served in perfect timing. … The guests staying at the hotel commented on how pleased they were on their rooms and the excellent breakfasts served. … We really appreciate all the time and effort you personally provided us in helping to arrange our wedding…Daniel and I were so pleased with all the hard work and effort you and all the staff at the hotel put into making our day so special. Every single one of the guests loved the venue. Comments were made as to its uniqueness and cleanliness. People noted how attentive, warm, cheerful and willing the staff were on the day. Comments were made in abundance about the quality and presentation of the Afternoon Tea! I personally cannot thank everyone enough for all the support they gave on the day. The day ran like clockwork, no hitches at all that I am aware of. I would 1 million percent recommend Felix to anyone who asked. So much I want to say but I cant find the words to say. So many pictures, so many memories to hold for life and its all thanks to the entire team at Hotel FelixEvery single one of the guests loved the venue. Amazing from start to finish (wedding)Amazing from start to finish (wedding)
We stayed from Friday night through to Sunday and got married here on the Saturday. I would like to thank the whole hotel team for helping us make our wedding perfect for us and our guests. If you are thinking of staying here or getting married here, then I would recommend this hotel 100% We stayed in the family room the night before the wedding and we loved that room. It was spacious with a vaulted ceiling and had a tv to watch whilst in the bath! We were lucky on the day with perfect weather but the whole wedding was organised by the hotel team to perfection. The food was great throughout our stay and of the many guests that came, all loved the food, the rooms and the hotel grounds. On our wedding night we moved to the wedding suite. We loved that room also because it has a lovely balcony over looking the rear of the grounds. I've stayed in many hotels in Cambridge and also around the world but on this occasion my expectations were surpassed. The only thing I would like to suggest is that it would have been a nice touch to help us when checking out due to all our bags and gifts we had to load. 17th September 2010 was my wedding day and it was held in the beautiful Hotel Felix in Cambridge. A year earlier I had proposed to my wife at Cape Agulhus in South Africa (the southern most tip of Africa) and had visited the Hotel Felix shortly after returning to the UK. From our first visit to the Hotel my wife and I fell in love with the place, it was a completely unique venue compared to the other venues in Cambridge and offered us the chance of a quite small and intimate wedding in a beautiful old house which had been developed into a boutique hotel. We got married outside in the open air in the Hotels Gazebo, which is surrounded by mature gardens and trees. We were then treated to canapes (including beef filled yorkshire puddings and smoked salmon and cream cheese roulade) and cocktails (mojitoes, pimms and bucks fizz) on the terrace and in the gardens while the photographs were being taken in the sunshine. The wedding breakfast and reception was held upstairs in the Atlas Suite. The wedding breakfast was simply amazing, the hotel prides itself on the quality of its food and on our wedding day, given that they were catering for 50 people, the staff exceeded our expectations with michelin star quality food and service. The evening reception saw a hot and cold buffet (including plaice goujons, chunky chips, tuna crusted in pepper, and a wide range of sandwiches and delicate sweets) and again was delicious. We were treated to the Penthouse Suite, a beautiful room at the top of the hotel, which was beautifully laid out with a massive bathroom. Breakfast the next morning I had asked for a table of 16, and the Hotel gave us a brilliant surprise by setting out a seperate room for our guests, which was a lovely way to bring our perfect day to a close. All of the staff from Caridad, the wedding co-ordinator, to Graham, the Food and Beverage Manager, we have found to be friendly and have treated my wife and I with the utmost respect and were all very courteous and effiencient with our guests. A wonderful venue for a personal weddingA wonderful venue for a personal wedding
We were delighted with the Hotel Felix as a wedding venue. The staff were professional, efficient and we hardly noticed they were there on the day. The attention to detail in the organising of the day was exceptional which gave our wedding a very personal feel. The venue is beautiful, we had a winter wedding but were also able to enjoy photographs outside in the beautiful gardens. Food was amazing, bridal suite gorgeous and we genuinely could not fault a thing.We were delighted with the Hotel Felix as a wedding venue. The staff were professional, efficient and we hardly noticed they were there on the day. The attention to detail in the organising of the day was exceptional which gave our wedding a very personal feel. The venue is beautiful, we had a winter wedding but were also able to enjoy photographs outside in the beautiful gardens. Everyone loved it, lots of people said it was the best wedding they'd ever been too! Mostly this was because it ran so smoothly which meant it could be really relaxed. No one could praise the staff enough, they were all so helpful and professional and steered us from room to room and really just made it all SO easy for us. We were just really happy we chose Hotel Felix - it's not a place we were familiar with and now it feels like a really special place to us. We would recommend anyone to book their wedding with you, it was completely brilliant and took all the stress away from us. We just want to thank you all for making our day brilliant and for looking after everyone so well!Everyone loved it, lots of people said it was the best wedding they'd ever been too! The little touches at this hotel really wowed – fluffy bathrobes and The White Company toiletries in the rooms, and the most relaxing massage we’ve ever had. The food is the standout element here. Graffiti is a bright, modern restaurant with lovely views over the hotel’s grounds, excellent service and dreamy desserts.
