We can accommodate up to 80 guests in the Music Room for a seated meal and up to 120 guests in the Main Hall & Dining Room. Our team of Chefs will produce perfect food on-site for your guests to enjoy. At House for an Art Lover we pride ourselves on providing outstanding service. We just wanted to say a huge thank you for all of your organisation with our reception. We and our guests had the most fabulous time and the House just looked wonderful. You made everything so easy to plan and I especially felt very reassured with you on the other end of an email/phone! Hi Hannah, We had the most amazing day! All the staff were fantastic, but special recognition to Robert and Scott, both of whom were exceptionally kind and attentive. Our wedding in June was so Perfect! Our wedding in June was so Perfect!
I'm writing on behalf of myself and Allison to thank you, Robert, and the whole staff at House for an Art Lover again for making our wedding in June so perfect - the help and support you provided to us while we planned our wedding from overseas was so much appreciated. Likewise Robert on the day, he really made it so easy for us to enjoy our special day to the fullest. We can't thank you enough, and will recommend the venue itself to anyone we know planning to get married in Glasgow! We can't imagine having had our wedding anywhere else. The Best Wedding VenueThe Best Wedding Venue
We chose the venue because of the magnificent location and the splendour of the facilities. Hannah, the wedding coordinator, guided us from start to finish, from menu choices and tastings, room choice, seating and table plans. There was no pressure and anything we weren’t sure about, she came with ease to the rescue. On the day the venue looked terrific, Robert the Event Operations Manager, kept discreet control and nothing was too much trouble. Everything we wanted was in place and the day ran like clockwork. The meal was fantastic, the staff very professional and the atmosphere was great. After the meal we arranged for a band to play and this took place in the cafe bar on the ground floor. We didn’t want it to end. The day, the music, the atmosphere and especially the guests made our day. We would definitely do it again. Perfect weddingPerfect wedding
We had our wedding at the House on December 9th and from our first viewing to collecting our things the day after the wedding, we couldn’t have hoped for a better or more helpful venue. Hannah was fantastic at guiding us through the booking and planning stages and on the day itself Robert and Scott (and all the staff) were amazing and made sure everything ran like clockwork. The meal/canapes and evening buffet were all delicious (the macaroni pies are highly recommended!), the bars were well stocked and managed and the venue itself was beautiful. Having everything taken care of under one roof took a lot of stress out of the proceedings. We had the most amazing day from start to finish. You’re planning, organisation and attention to detail was absolutely amazing. We appreciate everything that yourself and the team at the House for An Art Lover have done for us. Everyone had the best day. From the canapés, the meal, the room set up to all the staff. It could not have been more perfect. Everyone has messaged to say what a wonderful day they had and that is down to you and team at the HAL. We have been so impressed from start to finish with everything you guys have done for us. We had the most amazing day from start to finish. We had the perfect wedding day at House for an Art Lover. All of the staff including Hannah our wedding coordinator and Robert who ran things on the day were fantastic.
