Our stunning 16th Century Manor House is nestled in one of the most beautiful locations, just 3 miles from Plymouth City Centre and a short 15 minute walk from the beach, whilst still surrounded by the South Hams renowned Countryside. Brimming with extraordinary nautical, military, royal and regal history, your wedding day with us is guaranteed to be one that you never forget. We pride ourselves in providing unique and lifelong memories of your day. Our dedicated coordinators work tirelessly to ensure that every detail of your day is hand so that your wedding can run seamlessly. We can offer celebrations for 2-70 guests. With ceremonies for up to 70 guests. Our indoor space has beautiful period décor and an exquisite feature fireplace. If the weather is bright, the most desirable location at Langdon is our outdoor wedding pavilion. The Pavilion is located just a short walk from the main house, is extremely private and has a picturesque view overlooking our vineyards and ponds. In the warmer months we invite you to enjoy your drinks in our Jacobean Gardens. The gardens are pristine and ooze with renaissance architecture which makes them perfect for your wedding photos. When the weather is a little colder, we can offer drinks in our bar area where there is warming log fire and plenty of cosy corners to enjoy. Our dining room is flooded with natural daylight, it has two spectacular feature fireplaces and ornate crystal chandeliers. We will set the tables with white linen cloths, fine silverware and offer the most splendour food and service to accompany your day. Your evening reception will take place in our bar area and Langdon Suite. Here, there is plenty of room for up to 150 guests so that you can dance the night away in style! Whether you are looking for a grand affair with all your family and friends or an intimate occasion for just those who mean the most to you, we invite you to close the doors on the world and stop time whilst you savour your day.

'Why Wait' Wedding Offer 2019 Book your winter wedding with us here at Langdon Court for 50 guests at just £5,500. Available throughout October, November, December, January and February. The ‘Why Wait’ Wedding package includes: • Exclusive use of our exquisite Manor House and Gardens • Civil Ceremony hire • Glass of Prosecco or Winter Pimm’s for the reception drink • 2 Canapes per person • Three course Wedding breakfast with tea, coffee and petits fours per person • Half a bottle of wine per person • Evening Buffet per person • Chair Sashes • Flowers for the Bridal party with our expert house florist – One Bridal Bouquet, 2 Bridesmaids Bouquets and 3 Button Holes included • Hair and Make-up for the Bride, including her trial • DJ from 7pm until midnight, complete with lighting system • Your very own wedding favours, a choice of homemade Langdon chocolates or Devon fudge • Bridal Suite Complimentary for the night of your Wedding Prices • Additional adults for the day are chargeable at £80 each- up to 15 extra day guests • Additional evening guests are chargeable at £10 each- up to 100 extra evening guests In order to take the Hotel on an Exclusive use basis 10 bedrooms must be booked for the night of your Wedding. These will be offered at a reduced rate of £120 per room including breakfast. Terms and Conditions Valid from October 1st-Feburary 29th (excluding Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day), numbers include Bride and Groom, Langdon Court except no responsibility for the provisions of third-party suppliers and any additional items must be booked and paid for through the supplier directly, all suppliers are subject to availability and Langdon Court will make every effort to find an alternative supplier or will reduce the package by the value of the product if we are unable to supply this, valid to book until 19th December 2019 (subject to availability).

'And you may now kiss the bride'. I can still hear the Registra say those words (quite possibly because I've watched my wedding DVD many MANY times over -courtesy of Captured Moments). It truly was an incredible day. 11th July 2015 - one of the hottest days of the year and myself and my new husband got to share our magical moment with our friends and family at Langdon Court. When we went for the first viewing while choosing our venue, the first step into the entrance hall was all I needed to say yes to the venue. We even changed our selected wedding date to fit around their busy diary. Our day was captured by photographer Claire Tregaskis alongside Captured Moments for the videography. Our guests were cooled down after the ceremony with Ice creams supplied by The Little Green Van Company, entertained during the wedding breakfast by magician Lewis Beltcher, and offered yummy wedding cake made by Truley Scrumptious. Our flowers, bouquets and buttons were lovingly prepared by Lemon Blossom. Our guests were treated to some Ceilidh dancing coached by Paddys Whiskers who also provided Irish music and the evening DJ. All our supplies and Langdon Courts very own wedding planners Emma and Julie combined their efforts to make our day truly unforgettable. 'And you may now kiss the bride'.
