Our traditional 18th-century stone barn, recently converted to a stunning wedding venue will sweep you off your feet. Its honey-coloured grandeur can comfortably hold up to 200 guests for a seated wedding breakfast. Chipping Campden itself, with its curving main street lined with ancient biscuit-coloured limestone houses, is said to be one of the loveliest small towns in the Cotswold’s – if not the whole of England. Outside of the barn, open south-facing lawns and an English courtyard enhance the elegance further. Lovely day for our son and daughter in law as they held their wedding celebrations at the beautiful Lapstone. The whole process from booking up to the day was seamless and without any stress. Very helpful team. Food was excellent and plentiful and HOT!, barn was spotless! Christmas decorations added to the overall ambience of the setting. Thank you! Hello! Just a quick email before we head off on our honeymoon to thank you for being the DREAM TEAM! You have been amazing from when we booked in July right up until yesterday.. the day was absolutely perfect, it was more than we ever dreamt of, so thank you so much. Everyone LOVED the venue and we both haven’t stopped smiling. We feel so lucky to have gotten married there & you made it perfect for us. We just wanted to say a huge/massive/ginormous thank you for everything you all have done for us. We couldn't have asked for a better day, everything was just perfect. Our guests absolutely loved the day and also commented on how well organised it was and how helpful and friendly all the staff were. We'd also like to pass on the many comments about the food...from all of our guests..."the food was the best they had ever had at a wedding". "It was the best wedding they'd been to ever". Non of it would have been possible without your help, so a big thank you from both of us all the planning, prep and hard work paid off. Firstly a huge huge thank you to everyone at Lapstone, our wedding was absolutely amazing, the day went so smoothly and I wouldn't change anything. The food was insanely good, everyone kept saying how you could cut the beef with a spoon it was so good, please tell the chefs. I'm not just saying this as it was my wedding but best wedding food I've ever had, it was like being in a fancy restaurant. The perfect dayThe perfect day
Good morning, firstly, we would like to say thank you for what I can only describe as the perfect day! After a rather busy week with the house move we didn’t need to worry about our wedding day at all which really made a difference and enabled me to be nothing but excited! Thank you for helping us with the little jobs on the morning as well as letting us use your phone for music. I can’t remember the ladies name who was looking after us in the evening but she was also great as inevitably, we were running behind!! Not only did we have a great day, but our guests have complemented us on the venue and they have all been beaming about the food!! Best day of our livesBest day of our lives
Now that we’re back from honeymoon and settling into married life we just wanted to drop you a message to say a massive thank you so much for everything you have done over the last 12 months and above all, on the day itself. It really was the best day of our lives and everyone else seemed to have so much fun as well. The whole day went off without a hitch (I think?!) and that’s a huge testament to how well run the venue is and how well organised you all are. The food was just as good as we remembered it from the tasting and we had countless great comments from other guests about it as well. I’ve no doubt there are plenty of amazing weddings to come over the years at Lapstone, it really is a fantastic venue. Best Day EverBest Day Ever
We had the best day ever and only wish we could do it all over again. I don’t think there was even one guest who didn’t comment on how stunning the venue was and we couldn’t have wished for anything better. B and I both wanted to say a massive thank you for all your (and the teams) help leading up to and on the big day, and especially for staying later than we had agreed at the venue the day before. I’m sure you had things to be getting on with but we massively appreciated your patience and kindness in letting us stay until we had things completely ready-it meant we were able to relax the night before and the morning of which was invaluable. I think we are both in shock that, after all that planning, it’s all over...and I have already told B we will be attending some Lapstone open days as I can’t quite get to grips with the idea of not seeing the venue again!We had the best day ever and only wish we could do it all over again.
