We celebrated our wedding at Marwell Hotel this weekend, and it was absolutely fantastic! We booked out both the Maplethorpe and Oakwood rooms so that we had separate spaces for the ceremony and reception. It also meant we had use of the outside area between the two rooms which was lovely for our guests as it was quite a warm day! Marwell have been so lovely over the last 18 months whilst we've been planning our wedding and have always replied to our millions of questions! They organised menu tastings for us, put chocolates, fizz and rose petals in our bridal suite, and made sure that everything was perfect for our big day. Our day-of coordinator, Emma, was helpful in the morning, even fetching a broom herself and helping my groom and his ushers sweep the outside area to make everything perfect! When I arrived, Emma arrived to greet me and make sure I knew where I was going, before helping the bridal party sort themselves our and get ready for the ceremony. Afterwards she guided us somewhere private to have a few moments to ourselves before greeting our guests, and then made sure they everything ran smoothly for the remainder of the day. The venue itself is absolutely stunning - both rooms are immaculately decorated and make such a beautiful impression when you enter. They were exactly what we were looking for! Only down side was that it was so hot inside! Definitely needed something to help cool the rooms down a bit! But then, I imagine it was probably the same in most venues that weekend! Thank-you to everybody who helped make our wedding day as perfect as it was. It was everything we wished for and went smoother than we could have ever imagined. Every member of staff we came into contact with was pleasant and professional. The kitchen/waiting staff provided the incredible food for the menu tasting and the wedding breakfast, the reception staff were always so helpful and knowledgeable, making checking in and ordering breakfast nice and easy. The team who turned the room around between the ceremony/breakfast/reception did an amazing job and so promptly too! Most importantly a massive thank-you to Sophie, our wedding co-coordinator. Despite still being fairly new to Marwell by the time our wedding came around she was incredible, she was up to date with everything that was pre-planned and offered us more services to make our day even better! She had everything under control on the day & knew exactly what we both wanted, definitely made things less stressful for us all and allowed the entire day to run as smoothly as possible. The venue was as perfect as the day and the food was amazing! would definitely recommend as a venue for events!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank-you to everybody who helped make our wedding day as perfect as it was. Best day ever!Best day ever!
We got married at Marwell earlier this year. It was truly magical from start to finish. Megan, our wedding coordinator was fantastic. Any info we asked for the whole way through planning and on the day, she was always there with everything we needed and more. The food was delicious, which all the guests commented on for ages afterwards! All the staff were so accommodating and helpful. The bridal suite was beautiful.
