The room can seat 110 but is versatile too for the smaller weddings too. The Ballroom Our stunning ballroom can sit 130 for dinner including a dancefloor and can be set up and decorated in accordance with your wishes. Can I just say a massive thank you! You were amazing at the weekend and totally went out your way which was so appreciated! We had the best best time the whole weekend was just brilliant! Can you say a thanks to grant to he was brilliant! All the staff throughout the day and night were fabulous! Nothing was a hassle at all anything anyone asked was done and sorted which was amazing! So thank you again for making our day so brilliant!Can I just say a massive thank you! You were amazing at the weekend and totally went out your way which was so appreciated! The venue itself is stunningThe venue itself is stunning
We chose to have our meal in the Conservatory, where you are literally right on the golf course in breathtaking surroundings, followed by our reception in the Ballroom which oozes elegance and class. It is certainly a venue that doesn’t need much ‘dressing up’ in order to provide you with a gorgeous backdrop for your day. We were lucky enough to have a glorious sunny day, which allowed for our wedding photos to be taken on the beach and on the balcony beside the Road Hole Bar. We also managed to sneak in a sunset picture on the world famous Swilken Bridge! Choosing our menu was almost as fun as our wedding day, and chef even came out to meet us to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. If you are a foodie and really looking for a quality meal on your big day, then this is place for you! All of our guests couldn’t compliment the food enough, and we managed to provide options that suited everyone. The service throughout was second to none, it really is 5 star. Living in the south of England, it was always going to be challenging to liaise and have our vision come to life. However after meeting Laura, she completely put our minds at ease. Every detail or request that we had, were brought to life and nothing was too big or too small. Laura even went above and beyond on the morning of our day by helping to iron creases out of my wedding dress! We couldn’t have asked for a better venue and it will forever hold a special place in our heart. We held our daughters wedding reception at the Old Course Hotel on 19th May 2018. We cannot thank all the staff enough for making this day the best day for all who attended. Everyone who attended were astounded at not only the perfect setting, but also the excellent staff who may have been just doing their job but made you feel that it was their pleasure to make the day so special for all. Special thanks need to go to Harry, the restaurant manager who went above and beyond to be there in person for our daughters day. And also Lynsey, the wedding coordinator who dealt with everything thrown at her with a calming manner and even tracked down the brides mislaid bouquet, sending a courier to retrieve it from the church. We can only thank you for doing your part in making the day so special for us all John and Angie NewtonWe held our daughters wedding reception at the Old Course Hotel on 19th May 2018. Firstly, we would just like to say a massive thank you to you and the full team at Old Course Hotel. We had such a fantastic wedding day, everyone involved was fantastic, the venue is absolutely beautiful, the staff were friendly, kind and so helpful, everything was great. My oldest daughter was married in your Hotel last Saturday. I would just like to say that the day was absolutely fantastic and slick and very professional from start to finish. I would like to direct special praise to Joelle out coordinator. Her hard work and attention to detail was exemplary, coupled with a relaxed demeanour which put everyone in the bridal party at ease. The MC who’s name I didn’t catch was also in absolute control of the whole occasion. The service from the bubbly and canopies, right to the end of a splendid dinner, was efficient relaxed and very friendly. All to often at weddings the bar service for guests is undermanned and a bit of an afterthought, absolutely not the case last Saturday. I expect often you don’t hear from customers unless there’s a problem or complaint. Most amazing experience, wish we could do it againMost amazing experience, wish we could do it again
We were married here on Saturday and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The hotel and all of the staff were amazing! I stayed there the night before with my bridesmaid and the night of the wedding with my new husband and on both nights, the attention to detail was incredible. Couldn’t fault the hotel at all and all of our wedding guests agreed. From the warm greeting from the concierge to the wedding breakfast meal and service, it was all fantastic. Thank you for making our big day so special, it was honestly the most amazing experience and wish we could do it all again!We were married here on Saturday and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The hotel and all of the staff were amazing! We had such a special wedding day thanks to Joelle and her amazing team. We wanted our day a bit different, nothing was a problem, everything was done to perfection. Beautiful room, lovely food and a warm friendly service throughout. The venue is stunning, a fantastic place to capture gorgeous photographs on the golf course and at the beach. We would highly recommend the Old Course as a special place to get married. We wish we could do it all over again!We had such a special wedding day thanks to Joelle and her amazing team. Fabulous hotel. Wonderful welcome from the staff as we arrived. Immaculate, understated service - things just "happened". Lovely room.
