Enjoy the refreshing flexibility of this revamped and extremely unique wedding venue. Whether it is a large formal wedding or singing with old friends around a bonfire, we are dedicated to helping you be as creative and quirky as you wish. Pencarrow is the beautiful Georgian home of the Molesworth-St Aubyn family and offers an infinite variety of options for both ceremonies and receptions. We are pleased to offer a choice of locations within the property that are licensed for wedding ceremonies, inside the house and outside in our stunning grade two star listed gardens. We will deliver a truly unique and charming wedding experience, combining the beautiful traditional backdrop of Pencarrow House with a versatile contemporary venue. With a permanent wedding marquee and designed outdoor areas we can accommodate large formal sit down meals to bare foot dancing under the stars, offering the whole package from exchanging wedding vows to luxury camping for the wedding guests. Also happy to cater for small wedding parties, we can offer the beautiful Tea rooms with its splendid vaulted ceilings, this lovely light space is perfect for intimate party of fifty guests or less. We will encourage you to make your day your own with creative personal touches. What ever you dream up we will endeavour to source for you. Cocktail bar tents to children puppet shows…We can and will be happy to get them all.

If we could change one thing about our wedding day – it would only be that we could do it all again. From the instant, we found Pencarrow online we knew it would be the place for us – visiting the site and meeting Nico confirmed it. Our aim was to evoke the spirit of the very best bits of Cornwall on our wedding day, and Pencarrow certainly delivered. Everyone has their own style – but the fantastic thing about getting married here is that you have all the benefits of an established venue combined with the flexibility to tailor the day in a way that is bespoke to you. Being positioned in London could have provided difficult to organise a wedding, but thanks to Nico and her team, it certainly wasn’t. They are simply amazing, constantly on hand to help throughout the run up and on the big day itself to ensure everything runs like clockwork. After a ceremony on the lawn facing the beautiful backdrop of the gardens and the house, we ducked inside just as it started to rain to listen to our first band while canapés, photos and cocktails commenced. Nico’s team then led the way across the walled garden to the beautiful Indian print Marquee, lit up across the lawn surrounded by fairy lights and bonfires where we continued the reception. The very best bit of Pencarrow– outside of the amazing setting and fab team is the fact that the party never has to end. After an amazing evening in the marquee, we picked our way through the glamorous campsite to the woodland nightcap bar where we danced away what was left of the night under the starts surrounded by our friends, before collapsing into our yurt. It sounds bohemian to say you camped the night of your wedding – we did but in reality, it couldn’t not have been more lux! Everyone has commented on the beautiful setting and what a fun the wedding was, I know we are biased but we agree! I wish we could take all the credit but so much of it is down to the venue we chose and the team who helped us bring it to life. Thank you! We looked at several venues for our wedding but Pencarrow was by far the best fit for us. We clicked with Nico immediately and it was obvious our tastes were very similar. We felt confident leaving the decorations and a lot of the preparation to Nico and her team as we knew they would do a great job - and they did! There were so many things that attracted us to the venue, including the beautiful arbour as the location for our ceremony, the immaculate gardens for the celebration drinks, and the wonderful marquee for the reception. The option to go into the woods at night and have a pop up bar around the fire pit was a perfect way to finish the evening. Overall the day flew by because we did not have to worry about anything as Nico and the team had it under control. As a 41 year old bride with no lifelong “dream” wedding venue, dress or anything else to do with wedding day goals, you can’t imagine my delight at the discovery of the gem that is Pencarrow House on my doorstep! I knew from the first visit that it was to be the beginning of my wholly enjoyable wedding planning journey. With its perfectly maintained gardens surrounding the house itself, Pencarrrow is steeped in history and timeless charm, juxtaposed by the awesome addition of the festival style yurts and bell tents that are tucked away by the stunning wedding marquee, Pencarrow provided the perfect backdrop for our special day. Nico and her team worked tirelessly throughout the planning to ensure all our needs and wants were met and delivered in an effortlessly professional yet personal way. This approach made sure that our day ran as smoothly as it did (the whole wedding has been the subject of many a conversation in the days and weeks after). Pencarrow is the perfect balance of stately home charm and bohemian/festival chic. The perfect weather even appeared to have been ordered on our perfect day. We want to do it all again! It was only ever going to be Pencarrow for us! Gorgeous venue, and I’m sure they even sorted the weather for us!! Well organized from initial enquiry to post wedding day. Nico and her team did the most amazing job, nothing too much trouble. Our guests have all said it was the best wedding they have ever been to, beautiful and relaxed. A lot of our guests stayed on site and were blown away by the glamping facilities! Thank you so much for everything you did!It was only ever going to be Pencarrow for us! Nico and the team at Pencarrow were fab! They were so flexible and accommodating with everything in the build up: liaising with our various suppliers, allowing us to decorate the marquee and worked so hard on the day to coordinate everything. We had torrential rain and barely noticed. "Plan B" was executed seamlessly with no fuss; no mean feat with 170 rowdy guests! Pencarrow is a stunning venue, the marquee is magical, and even IF the weather is biblical you will have the most wonderful day!Nico and the team at Pencarrow were fab! From the moment we first set eyes on Pencarrow, we knew we’d found the perfect venue... this place is seriously stunning - from the charming Georgian House, to the gardens, through to the beautiful marquee and camping field complete with yurts, bell tents and a twinkling woodland nightcap bar. Pencarrow is complimented by Nico, Jasmine and a host of others who help to achieve your dreams using a wealth of knowledge, enthusiasm and creativity. Nothing is too much trouble for this glorious group of people who will endeavour to ensure you have the best day possible. We had the perfect day. A ceremony in the house, followed by drinks on the lawns, and plenty of fun at the marquee - the lawn games were a total hit! When it was home time for some of our guests, the rest of us descended on the woodland nightcap bar, where we had cocktails ready to help ourselves to! When we were all partied out, we went to sleep in a beautiful (and deceptively large) yurt complete with log burner, which had already been lit for us to keep the chill off! A wedding at Pencarrow can be whatever you want to make it, and it’s the freedom to do your wedding your way that was what attracted us to this place! I only wish we could do it all again. Absolutely MagicalAbsolutely Magical
We just wanted to say a great big “Thank You” to you and the team at Pencarrow, for making our wedding absolutely perfect! Pencarrow was so beautiful, we couldn’t have wished for a more lovely setting. All the flowers were in full bloom. It was absolutely magical, from the moment I stepped into the horse and carriage at the top of the drive! The tea rooms fitted our 50 guests perfectly and had the perfect relaxed country feel we were looking for. The children loved the play area and the peacocks and chickens all added to the scenery and entertainment. All our guests have said what a wonderful day they had. Everything ran so smoothly, which I know is mainly down to the hard work put in behind the scenes while we were enjoying ourselves. Giving us a lift to our hotel at midnight, after our vintage car let us down, was truly above and beyond. No one wants to be stranded at midnight in a wedding dress! This truly is THE venue! Nico is a dream! Her vision for all the weddings at Pencarrow House is inspirational and yet her attitude and excitement to give you the most perfect, totally bespoke day is extraordinary. No idea was too much trouble, no ask too big.. to say we pushed her and her team to their limits, is probably not an understatement.. and yet the smile remained. Her knowledge of all the best local suppliers too is super useful - we went with all her recommendations and were thrilled. We had the most incredibly perfect wedding day, we lost count of how many of our guests told us this was the best wedding they had ever been to. Walking down the aisle to the arbour, whilst being heckled by peacocks(!), surrounded by the sounds of birds and bees, the ceremony at the arbour was magical. Then, bubbles in hand we walked up to the lake, along the magical walkway to the stunning gardens by the lake for the canapes, which we all absolutely loved and yet I'm sure was a logistical nightmare. Followed by dinner in the stunning Indian tent and dancing the night away in the woods for the after party, to wake up in a stunning bridal yurt, this venue truly has it all. ow - and going down the drive on your wedding day.. it doesn't get more epic an arrival then that!
