Getting married at Rose in Vale offers you a warm family feel in over 10 acres of secluded gardens and woodland. To ensure that your special day runs exactly as you have planned and imagined it to be, we can offer you EXCLUSIVE USE of the whole venue for your wedding, whether this be for one or two nights. We limit the number of Exclusive Use weddings held each year at the Rose in Vale so you can be sure that your wedding will be special and exclusive in every sense of the word. With Exclusive Use you just have to supply the flowers, decorations and evening entertainment. We are a secluded spot for an INTIMATE & ELOPEMENT wedding, a gorgeous serene hideaway for celebrating and beginning your life together. Elope with a few special friends and family (up to 20) to our wedding venue in Cornwall. We can help you make your intimate wedding day tailored to you. Ceremony only starts from £350. For an AFTERNOON RECEPTION with no evening party at Rose in Vale, we can cater for larger parties of up to 80 guests. Although you can hold your entire wedding and civil ceremony at Rose in Vale, if you are getting married in the church nearby and want to celebrate in our Georgian Country House Hotel with your guests, we can tailor something to suit you.

From Intimate Weddings for two to Exclusive Use Package - Hire the Hotel Exclusive Use Rose in Vale can take up to 80 daytime guests and 120 guests in the evening. Prices are October-April and May to September. (£9949 to £12,149) Our Exclusive Use package which includes the following for 40 guests (our minimum): • Exclusive use hire fee of the Rose in Vale for the daytime ceremony, reception and evening celebrations • Wedding coordinator from enquiry until you leave us as a married couple • Gold banquet chairs for the ceremony and meal • Canapes and drinks after the ceremony • Round tables • White table linen • Use of Silver Cake Knife • 3 course Wedding Breakfast plus tea/coffee • 2 glasses of house wine each • A glass of toasting wine each • Cornish Pasty supper in the evening • Hotel accommodation for 40 guests including the Honeymoon Suite for your Wedding Night • and breakfast the following morning

We got married at Rose in Vale Country House in May 2017. It was a perfect location. Everything we asked for was provided with such pleasure to ensure we had the day that we imagined. In fact the staff, food, location could not have been bettered in our opinion. We had a fabulous day thanks to them. Rose in Vale is a beautiful hidden gem! The Rose in Vale is such a pretty venue: a secluded Georgian country manor nestled in gorgeous gardens in a valley near to Perranporth. Our day was fantasticOur day was fantastic
I'd like to start by saying I don't usually write reviews on here but felt on this occasion compelled to do so. We got married here in May 2019 and I cannot thank everyone enough at the hotel. Claire who arranged it all for us was amazing, nothing too much trouble and the day couldn't have gone any better or smoother. A big thank you to Paul for making us feel welcome, a nice touch from the owner. Rooms were good, food great and our day was fantastic. If you are looking for a venue to get married at then my wife and I can highly recommend Rose in Vale. My husband and I got married here on 9/4/16. The hotel staff made our day extremely special and treated me and my new husband like royalty. They all worked tirelessly throughout the day to make us and our guests happy and cater to our every need. They decorated the hotel beautifully on the day and in the run up to the wedding were very understanding of our requirements. The food was exquisite and the chef, restaurant staff were all fantastic and were lead by the best restaurant manager who made sure every guests needs were met. Our room was beautiful and so comfortable and we were glad to be able to relax at the end of a busy but best day of our lives made all the more perfect by the staff. Claire and Paul and all their staff and family did a great job and we are proud to say that we were married at the beautiful Rose in Vale. Highly recommended. Rose in Vale, a gorgeous family run Georgian country house hotel within the folds of a valley in Mithian, is about as close to St. Agnes and the aforementioned literary inspirations as one could hope to find, with Truro, the county’s administrative capital city only a short drive away. Available for private hire by couples wanting an exclusive venue to celebrate with family and friends, Rose in Vale is also an excellent destination for holidaymakers wishing to explore the area or those wanting an adult only retreat. A sumptuous restaurant provides quality dining to hotel residents or outside visitors and accommodation includes 10 acres of beautiful gardens with the opportunity to relax in its outdoor heated swimming pool. Ideally suited for luxury wedding celebrations, Rose in Vale has the flexibility to accommodate either an intimate gathering or a large reception across it’s grounds. By Road Via the A30 South through Cornwall. At Chiverton Cross roundabouts take the 3rd exit at the first roundabout and then the 3rd exit at the second, this is the B3277 signed towards St Agnes. After 500 metres turn right at the tourist information direction sign to the Rose-in-Vale. This will take you into Mithian, turn right at the Miners Arms, down the hill and you will find the Hotel on your left at the bottom of the valley. By Air Direct flights to Newquay from Gatwick, Manchester, Edinburgh, Newcastle and Norwich. Cornish pasty without a doubt. If you are getting married in Cornwall you must include a proper pasty.

What is your venue's most unique feature?

Our Poldark connection. Rose in Vale was the real life Winter residence for the Wheal Leisure mining captain. Wheal Leisure mine in Winston Graham's Poldark books really existed in Perranporth. Mr Graham lived in Perranporth and wrote the books there. So our venue was the home to the real mine Captain of Wheal Leisure. Whilst we would love to find Ross and Demelza in the history of the house. the real one was actually called Captain John Oates.
