Previously a Victorian Manor House, the hotel exudes character and charm throughout. There is a real sense of history with elegant decor and sophisticated interiors. The hotel is set within 11 acres of picturesque parkland; the stunning grounds and immaculate lawns provide the most glorious backdrops for your important wedding photographs. All of our weddings and social events are in the safe, experienced hands of our dedicated wedding co-ordinator. From your initial enquiry to the big day itself, they will be your point of contact for all of your wedding needs and queries. The hotel is licensed to hold civil ceremonies in four rooms. The largest banqueting suite available can accommodate up to 180 guests for your wedding breakfast. The lawn-facing Garden Room is ideal for an intimate, romantic affair, while the grandeur of the Broughton Suite provides the perfect ambience for a larger occasion. At the end of the evening, the hotel can offer you and your new spouse a complimentary bedroom for the perfect start to your married life together. For your overnight guests, there are 149 spacious bedrooms available at preferential rates. Every wedding should be an individual, unique and personal event.

A perfect day that we will all remember foreverA perfect day that we will all remember forever
On behalf of Grace, Dan, Steve and myself may we thank you and the Marriott team for a wonderful day on the 8th June 2019 for Grace and Dan’s Wedding. The room looked so beautiful with such careful attention to detail, the food was delicious, the new dance floor was a hit and the DJ had the dance floor full all night! Ray did a fantastic job as Master of Ceremonies and looked after us until late into the evening making sure we all had everything we needed and all day all the staff were unreservedly helpful, friendly and just nice. Steven took time with myself and my brother Nigel to sort out the lighting with us. The room was dimmed when the guests were arriving for the Ceremony and as Grace and Steve walked down the aisle, the lighting got brighter – it was just perfect! Dan was on hand to help out, Raz was always just where you needed him to help out and did a great job working on the room plan and other things too numerous to mention! We did thank most of the staff on the day but I am so sorry, I forgot to ask Ray to thank the Chef’s. The breakfast was absolutely lovely and the buffet was great – the bacon and sausage barms went down really well! We had a wonderful day and weekend. Nothing was too much trouble for the Marriott team and we know Gemma that all your notes and understanding from our previous meetings were instrumental in everything going to plan and so perfectly. We had a fabulous Wedding that and a perfect day that we will all remember forever. Great MemoriesGreat Memories
Myself and Paul cannot thank you enough for organising and planning our wedding. From first looking at the venue, we knew it was where we wanted our wedding to be. All Staff involved were truly professional, friendly and well organised. Guests who stayed said how looked after they all felt, especially my mum, rooms were beautiful, and breakfast just right. All our Wedding party said the food and evening buffet was superb. Ray was a gentleman, and the room by Jen was looking amazing. You made our Wedding Day and the journey up to it unforgettable, yourself and all the staff should be proud of yourselves. We will certainly have great memories, Love Christine and Paul.
