A stunning Victorian building dating back to 1875, the Purbeck House Hotel, was originally built as a private home, became a convent school for sixty years and afterwards was converted into a welcoming hotel, full of history, character and original charm. Each room still tells a story and carries fascinating history through its original features of the house that can still be seen today. From the stunning mosaic floor in the hotel lobby to the stained glass window on the second floor the hotel still holds it’s 19th century charm.
