If the weather is on your side, The Spinney is an idyllic outdoor ceremony space that is only a few steps away from the barn but offers a sense of seclusion and intimacy. Accompanied by birdsong and surrounded by Rivervale’s beautiful gardens and atmospheric woodland, The Spinney is the most magical place to say ‘I do’. Following your ceremony, the Reception Room is the ideal space to start your celebrations. Enjoy a selection of canapés and a drink of your choice whilst experiencing the spectacular Mediterranean Courtyard. With guests sampling their delightful refreshments explore the gorgeous gardens and capture those all-important photographs with stunning backdrops. The Dining Room is truly impressive and guaranteed to wow your guests. Perfection from start to finish.Perfection from start to finish.
From the first moment we stepped in to view Rivervale Barn we both knew that this was where we would get married. The building is both awe inspiring and homely at the same time and not a single detail has been missed. The attention to detail during the planning stage kept me relaxed throughout and the staff on the day ensured everything was done to perfection. I can't thank the venue enough and would highly recommend that everyone at least go and take a look.From the first moment we stepped in to view Rivervale Barn we both knew that this was where we would get married. Disappointing customer serviceDisappointing customer service
I booked the venue and then had to cancel shortly afterwards due to some quite upsetting life changes. The venue re booked the date shortly afterwards and refused to give the deposit back which was a little unfair considering it was 2 years in advance. I expected when contracting the the company they will be professional and empathetic, extremely disappointing. Obviously a company who is clearly after your money not customer satisfaction!! The team at Rivervale Barn made our wedding day perfect. The food was outstanding, the service excellent. All the staff were polite and accommodating. Our events manager Michaela was so organised, helpful and super efficient with the planning of our special day and on the day itself. The whole day was amazing from start to finish.The team at Rivervale Barn made our wedding day perfect. The food was outstanding, the service excellent. All the staff were polite and accommodating. Our day was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Lyndsay, who was our event manager, was outstanding and was with us every step of the way to make sure our wedding day was as we visioned. The staff who helped out on the day were also wonderful - there were no concerns on the day whatsoever as the staff were fully on the ball with every detail. All of our guests who left (those who even attended he evening do) have been saying it's the best wedding they've ever been to. Thank you so much!Our day was absolutely perfect from start to finish. I cannot fault Hayley and the team they were absolutely incredible!! Our day was made so special and everything was magical! We are so happy that not only did we fall in love with a stunning venue we were supported from start to finish by the amazing galloping gourmet events team! The first word that springs to mind when I think of Rivervale Barn is outstanding. Michaela one of wedding team was my guardian angel for all of her support and help leading up to the wedding and the day itself. I will never forget my special day at Rivervale and wish I could do it all again. Nothing was too much for any of the staff and I know that all of my/our guests thought the same. Our wedding was a dream come true...Our wedding was a dream come true...
Our wedding was a dream come true. We thought at one point a few weeks before we would have to cancel and then a week before our wedding date it was back on track and Rivervale Barn did everything to keep our day running smoothly. Couldn't have asked for a better team in all aspects of the day. The venue is stunning and all our guests fell in love with the place and food. Cannot recommend it enough. Wish I could get married here everyday!!Our wedding was a dream come true. In the past 18 months while we planned our wedding at every stage Hayley and the Rivervale Barn / GG team we're on hand to help. Every time we went for meetings / spoke to Hayley she honestly made us feel like we were the only wedding happening this year , she just made it feel so personal and special the whole time for us. We can hand on heart say that we chose the best ever venue and I would not of changed anything at Rivervale Barn , we could not fault it one bit.In the past 18 months while we planned our wedding at every stage Hayley and the Rivervale Barn / GG team we're on hand to help.
