THE NEEDLES: For those that desire a more intimate ceremony, The Needles is the perfect space. I'm Emily and I run Lotus Photography UK. I photographed a wedding at the hotel in August 2019 and I basically want to move in to this hotel! It is STUNNING, it's so beautiful, you don't feel like you're in the middle of Southampton when you get there. The venues are breathtaking. Besides being beautiful, there were a few things that made a big impression: THE FOOD! Being a wedding photographer, I've eatten a fair amount of wedding meals. I also have a gluten allergy, so I've seen highs and lows, this was by far one of my favourite meals. It was so delicious, beautifully presented and my allergy was so easily handled. The Staff. Again, having been to lots of venues, I've seen highs and lows in staff, you can spot when a member of staff is just going through the motions, the staff at the hotel CARE. They clearly cared about their guests, they cared about where they worked, they wanted to ensure you had a great experience. It showed and it was appreciated. If you are looking for a unique wedding location in Southampton, highly recommend. PS: Before I got there, I was a bit concerned about parking. However, there is a multi storey car park only a couple minutes walk, it's clear, secure and very well lit. Again, with my job, I work long hours, have to carry a lot of equipment around, but I felt safe going to and from my car, also wasn't expensive.
