The perfect wedding venue in Somerset, nestling in the shadow of Wells Cathedral Whether it’s an intimate wedding, a large wedding reception or the civil wedding ceremony itself, the Swan Hotel prides itself on providing the perfect wedding venue in Somerset. Civil wedding ceremonies are held in the delightful Garden Room. This light and airy room lends itself beautifully to civil wedding ceremonies and opens out onto a secluded Walled Garden. The Ivory Suite, located on the ground floor, has its own reception and bar area and seats up to 90 guests for a wedding breakfast. Evening functions for up to 150 guests can be catered for by hiring the interconnecting Garden Room. At the front of the hotel, Swan Terrace provides a unique opportunity to capture Wells Cathedral as a stunning backdrop for wedding photographs. Luxurious Honeymoon Suite The stunning Cathedral Suite offers unrivalled panoramic views of Wells Cathedral. The sumptuous and spacious bedroom, sitting room and bathroom are furnished with gilded French furniture, fabulous silk curtains and an eclectic mix of antiques. Guests can enjoy a complimentary bottle of Champagne, chocolates and fresh flowers in the suite on arrival.
