Description

The barn at Tall John's House has now been restored to provide a warm, light , versatile space - perfect for gatherings of all types - whilst preserving its original rustic charm. The enclosed rear courtyard provides a very sheltered outdoor space, perfect for drinks, smokers, canapes or simply socializing. The front courtyard offers breathtaking views across the valley to the Black Mountains. In the courtyard complex there are permanent toilet facilities, a catering area and a self-catering cottage providing 4 en-suite bedrooms to sleep eight people. This can also be used as a creche or changing area. Also adjoining the courtyard complex is The Coachman's. This is a luxurious romantic getaway for 2 people - ideal for a couple on their wedding night. It is entirely private and couples will be treated to a breakfast basket of good things! One of the best features of Tall John's House is the wonderful setting. Surrounded by its own land, Tall John's House has spacious lawns - ideal for pre-dinner drinks and photographs - and a historic and carefully maintained walled garden with many spots to capture those memorable photographic moments! Civil ceremonies can take place in our charming gazebo on a natural stage in the gardens, in our newly converted Granary or in the barn itself. The Manor House can also be rented separately if you wish but this is entirely optional. The Manor House can sleep 19 people in 11 bedrooms and bathrooms.
