With a choice of tastefully decorated reception rooms, award-winning accommodation, and picturesque gardens, our Grade II listed venue is the perfect place to celebrate your wedding. That Amazing Place offers exclusive overnight accommodation in our stylish and extremely comfortable bedrooms. With our new luxurious Bridal Cottage (available from 2018) and 13 additional guest rooms (sleeping up to 27 people), not only does this give you complete privacy on your special day, but your guests can also relax and enjoy themselves without the hassle of having to worry about transport. The best day of our lives at the most amazing venueThe best day of our lives at the most amazing venue
We had our Wedding at That Amazing Place at the start of December, and what an amazing day it was! That Amazing Place was the first venue we viewed and the last, we loved it so much we didn’t need to see anywhere else. We had no concerns about the weather, being in December, as the venue inside is so beautiful. Unlike many wedding venues, this one makes you feel completely at home, not small yet intimate, modern yet classic. Owners Paul and Jane treated us like friends and went above and beyond to make us feel very welcome from the moment my Mother and myself arrived the day before, making us both feel completely at ease. Angie was fantastic, she ensured everything went like clockwork, constantly ensuring everything was in place so Mark and I could simply enjoy the day. Many guests have complimented on how smoothly everything went on the day, and how they were ushered to the right place so they were not to miss anything, this is all down to Angie. After doing our research we went with recommended catering suppliers Magpie. From the initial food tasting with Lizzy to the day itself, Mark and I were so impressed. The food was absolutely delicious and the service impeccable! The staff looked very presentable and always had a smile on their face. All food came out in very good time and everyone loved the sliders in the evening. Mark and I would really did have the best day of our lives and that is truly down to this beautiful venue and the incredible people behind it. Thank you Paul, Jane, Angie, Lizzy and your staff. The entire team at That Amazing Place ensured that our wedding day went exactly to plan and took care of our every request throughout the process. The suppliers they recommended were great, which made the planning of our big day much easier and during the build-up to the wedding Angie was on hand to answer all our questions and reassure us, no matter how ridiculous our questions were! We went with That Amazing Place as our wedding venue as we felt the staff and venue offered something entirely different to other places we had viewed. Some wedding venues feel very traditional and rigid in the way they work, which wasn’t the vibe we wanted for our day. Speaking to Paul and Angie when we looked round, we got a real sense that there was a relaxed and fun (but still very professional) approach to the venue and that really stood out to us. We were consistently told ‘it’s your day’ and that we could do what we wanted, which was nice to hear, as some aspects of a traditional wedding really didn’t appeal to us. The venue is really intimate, and it made for a fun atmosphere throughout the day and especially into the evening as everyone was in close proximity and could mingle easily. Although the day is a bit of a blur I do remember Angie being really helpful in ensuring we were both where we needed to be. She was a much-needed calm presence! I’d recommend That Amazing Place as a wedding venue in a heartbeat and we’re both so glad that we picked it for our special day. The grounds and venue are beautiful but the main appeal to us was the unique vibe of it all that was such a great fit and allowed everyone to have such an amazing time. Simply perfect !Simply perfect !
It’s been a week since our wedding at That Amazing Place and we are still sincerely overwhelmed. We have so much gratitude to Angie who made the build up, planning and the day completely wonderful and stress free. Sarah and her caterers went beyond our expectations, not only providing delicious food but accommodating some very last minute guests. The lovely owner Paul made us all feel totally at home with his warmth and kindness which is what we fell in love with when we visited almost two years ago. Our day was beyond our wedding dreams and we will be eternally grateful, thank you That Amazing Place !!It’s been a week since our wedding at That Amazing Place and we are still sincerely overwhelmed. The most perfect day!! The most perfect day!!
We had our wedding at That Amazing Place at the start of October and the whole day was just perfect! The venue is truly amazing, stunningly beautiful, and Angie, Paul and Jane could not have been more welcoming and helpful. I stayed in the bridal cottage the night before which made the whole morning more relaxing, and it was great being able to peep out and see everyone arriving. As it turned out it was mainly dry on the day so we could have photos outside but it was lovely not having to worry about the weather as the inside of the venue is just as beautiful. They also enabled us to have our dog there for the photos. The food was by their recommended caterers Premier Crew and was delicious, and served so efficiently. We both loved every single second of the day, and can not thank Angie, Paul, Jane and Sarah from premier crew enough. We would love to do it all over again! We had our wedding here in August and I honestly cant fault it. Paul and Jayne who own it let us feel like it was our home and everything was so beautiful. Angie and her team made the wedding seamless and everything was simply perfect. The best place to have a wedding for tranquility, homely feel and the best service ever!!!!We had our wedding here in August and I honestly cant fault it. Completely blew me awayCompletely blew me away
The house and grounds are beautiful. We got married in the gazebo next to the lake with the most beautiful backdrop. All the wedding coordinators and the house owners were on hand for every little thing. All stress was taken away and we didn't have to worry about a thing. Definitely worth every penny. THE MOST ‘AMAZING’ DAY EVER!THE MOST ‘AMAZING’ DAY EVER!
First things first, our day would not have been possible without the incredible wedding planner Angie. Even before the wedding day she was always on hand to reply swiftly to any emails we sent, no matter the time of day or how silly the question. We were never told NO about any of our ideas for the wedding, she only helped us to fulfil every idea and make it a reality. Even the Facebook group Angie set up was great, it helped us to talk to previous Brides/Grooms and get ideas for the venue. On the day of the wedding we had to do barely any setting up, which meant the Groom could enjoy getting ready in the Bridal Suite with his best man and felt completely stress-free. The setup of the house and marquee was magical and looked absolutely stunning. We couldn’t have asked for anything more! The whole day ran very smoothly, and we didn’t feel rushed once which meant that we could take in the day and even the guests commented on how relaxed they felt. Next is a massive thank you to Sarah and the Premier Crew catering team. They were extremely friendly and efficient in their service throughout the entire day. They went above and beyond from the welcome drinks all the way through to our fish & chip cones in the evening. The food tasted phenomenal and all guests were extremely happy, including our guests with dietary requirements. Our next big thank you has to go to Paul and Jane for letting us use your incredible, breath-taking house and grounds for our special day. All of our guests that stayed loved how modern and stylish their rooms were and how much space they had. Although we didn’t spend much time in our Bridal cottage it was absolutely gorgeous and was the perfect location to get away and spend some time on our own after a day filled with guests. At the end of the night Paul went out of his way to set us (and our staying guests) up a few drinks in the cosy lounge with some music and this made the perfect end to a COMPLETELY PERFECT DAY! Even the morning after, the greatness of this place just continued to shine when we turned up to the breakfast room and was greeted with lots of yummy breakfast snacks and a delicious sausage sandwich (which was definitely needed after the night before). We weren’t rushed at all in the morning to check out and leave, and everyone enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. This gave us plenty of time to pack up and say goodbye to guests properly. If we could, we would love to do the day all over again, as this truly was the best day of our lives! We cannot thank you all enough for making our day such a special one and helping to fill it with lots of memories that we will treasure forever! That Amazing Place really is just that, Amazing! Before we even viewed the venue we knew it was for us and seeing it in person just confirmed that. The house and the grounds are all stunning and beautifully decorated. Paul and Jayne have done a fantastic job at creating the venue and making it perfect for everybody’s needs. It was perfect for us and our special day and all of our guests agreed. Being able to have our puppy walk up the aisle as flower girl and stay for as long as we wanted really made it our day and we wouldn’t have wanted to do it without her. Angie and the team made sure everything went smoothly the entire day and gave us the opportunity to enjoy the entire process and the day itself without any stress to come with it. Angie co-ordinated with our caterers, photographers and all of our entertainment to ensure timings of the day without ever making us feel rushed in the process. We were so lucky with the weather and had our ceremony outside which is such a serene setting and some beautiful photos were taken capturing our day. Following on from that we had dinner and later partied the night away in the marquee which is a perfect size for the size wedding we had. We spent our entire Minimoon talking about all the Amazing parts of the day that we really got to enjoy and it is all thanks to Angie co-ordinating everything for us. Angie even made sure to video parts of the wedding that she knew were coming up so we did not miss out on those key moments as they were surprises for our guests. Our only disappointment is that it is all over. We may have to renew our vows earlier than planned just so we get to have the same team working with us again! Ben and I booked That Amazing Place just over two years ago for our wedding that took place on the 24th May 2019. This venue was the first and only venue we viewed as we instantly fell in love with it and felt in our hearts that no other place could compare. The house, the grounds and the interior are absolutely stunning, well maintained and so tastefully done along with the brand new marquee which is the best we have seen. It is a complete breath of fresh air in comparison to the usual types of wedding venue with the light airy spaces and modern feel. It goes without complete hesitation to say the wonderful Angie, the venue’s co-ordinator, made everything run so smoothly from initially booking the venue to the very end of our wedding day, as well as making the planning stages so enjoyable, organised & completely stress free. We simply can’t thank Angie and all of the staff enough for maintaining such a relaxed atmosphere and timing everything to perfection. Ben & I must also extend a very special thank you to Paul and Jayne (who own the venue), who are both the most incredible hosts, along with their family, who made every single guest feel so very welcome and looked after, with nothing being too much trouble at all. We both agree that this was a huge factor in making That Amazing Place so special.
