How would we describe the Black Swan? The Black Swan is ‘beautifully different’. It oozes ‘olde-worlde’ charm, whilst carefully combining classic contemporary design with handfuls of antiques to create a warm, home-from-home atmosphere. We appreciate that all weddings and receptions are unique. We are lucky enough to be able to cater for weddings of all sizes, from small, intimate gatherings of up to 24 guests, to large exclusive use weddings for 90 guests. As we only cater for one wedding per day you are ensured to have first class service to compliment your special day. The Black Swan Hotel is also fully licensed to hold civil marriages and partnerships, offering a variety of rooms to suit all sizes of parties from 4 to 90 guests.

Thank you to Nicola at the Black Swan who made my son's wedding day so very very special. From the moment we met Nicola she was so friendly and helpful, nothing was a trouble to her. She guided us into making the arrangements for the wedding, Nicola mentioned every little detail to us about the wedding package. What a day it was, we had access to 3 rooms, all beautifully decorated and attention to detail and the lovely pretty garden. Every time we made a visit to the hotel, Nicola was always so kind, friendly and encouraging about what a special day it would be. I took lots of décor to the hotel including flowers, and I was overwhelmed how nicely Nicola and Sue had decorated the rooms in such a professional and brilliant way for us. Attention to detail was so evident. Throughout the day we were looked after by Nicola, Sue, the manager and staff., nothing was a trouble. We felt like Nicola and Sue were part of the actual family, they were absolutely superb. I would recommend the Black Swan to anyone for a wedding reception. Our day was so relaxed, I am speechless really about how lovely the Black Swan is and I think it is down to Nicola who is the nicest person you could wish to meet.
