The Busby Hotel is the perfect venue for your perfect wedding.
Our multi-award winning hotel has undergone an extensive refurbishment that has made The Busby Hotel one of the most beautiful and stylish venues in Scotland.
Having recently been crowned with the coveted title "Scottish Wedding Venue of The Year 2016" at the Scottish VOWS awards, and again in 2017 this gorgeous venue, with a team of staff that are just out of this world, should be on your list of venues to view before you book anywhere else. Our Busby Suite can accommodate up to 180 for dining and up to 200 in the evening with a smaller Cartside suite that is perfect for more intimate gatherings.
At The Busby Hotel we only ever host 1 wedding per day, when you book with us, your day will be all about you and you will never have to share this magical day with any other couples.
We fully understand how important your wedding day is and you can rest assured that we will make this a flawless experience for you treasure forever. The wedding team at The Busby are some of the best staff in Scotland, we will work with you side by side and guide you through the entire planning process to ensure that every detail is taken care of, nothing will be left to chance.
Our dedicated Wedding Co-ordinator will be with you from the minute you come to have a look around the venue right up until the big day itself! She is so passionate about her job and will go above and beyond to ensure that you have the dream wedding day you have always imagined. She will tailor a bespoke package personalised to your individual requirements and will be on hand throughout your planning to guide, advise and help you create the day you are both looking for - she has also recently won the Scottish VOWS awards for best wedding co-ordinator in Scotland 2017 so rest assured you will be in excellent hands!

At meetings before the wedding it was obvious that the events leader Sarah Jane Anderson was a highly professional, skilled and considerate leader whose attention to detail made us realise that Aileen's big day was in safe hands. The day itself was magical, both in the level of care and consideration Sarah Jane and her wonderful team afforded to Aileen and Paul, and indeed to ourselves and all our guests, that we would recommend the Busby unconditionally as a venue for an occasion such as a family wedding. The quality of the meal was excellent, and the team members were efficient, cheerful, and nothing was too much trouble when it came to meeting individual needs and requests. From the very first time I visited on an open day I knew it was the venue for us, it was just perfect. Then upon meeting Sarah Jane the wedding co-ordinator, this 100% sealed the deal. She was just amazing from start to finish, offering help wherever needed. All our family highly rated our choice of venue on the wedding day, saying that all the staff were so delightful and pleasant, nothing was an inconvenience. Martin would like to say a special thanks to Gary who took care of him on the morning of the wedding, making sure he had a pint of Tennents to calm any nerves. Also special thanks to Margo, who was a great help with Martin's Gran. Everything about this hotel was 5*, rooms- perfect, food- amazing, cleanliness- spot on, service- outstanding. I cannot wait to come back for an overnight as Husband & Wife. Stayed over for two nights, and had a meal in the restaurant on the Friday night - which was incredible. A comfy bed, and plenty of space in the bedroom, and an amazing shower......! The wedding was excellent - so well organised, and professional staff helped us feel at ease. The food was great - the buffet at night was a surprise (once you got to the front of the ever growing queue!) chips are always a good way to soak the drink! A great time had by all, and hopefully will get back soon!came to the Busby hotel to celebrate my cousins wedding. Sarah on reception and Jaryd in the bar were fantastic. The food was of very good quality in both the restaurant and also the wedding meal. The rooms were nicely decorated, clean and kitted out well. Breakfast is lovey and perfectly cooked using high quality ingredients. Great venue for a wedding and a very well organised team. Great job! Attended a recent wedding here. What a fantastic day for both myself and my husband and all our family. The team at the Busby couldn't do enough for us and my full family commented on how accommodating they all were from start to finish. My family enjoyed it that much that we have booked to come back for a tribute night. Myself and my new husband also came back 2 days after getting married and it was great to see we still got a warm welcome from everyone I'm the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel for any weddings or family events ... you will definitely leave with a smile I recently got married at the Busby Hotel and all I can say is wow!! What a fantastic day for both myself and my husband and all our family. We had the most amazing day/night and we can’t thank the busby hotel enough. Every member of staff went above and beyond for everyone attending our wedding and we can’t thank everyone enough. We won’t ever forget the experience and that’s all down to every memeber of staff being fantastic. The food was fantastic and every guest commented on how much the enjoyed the meal and the hotel over all. The first meeting with Sarah Jane (award winning wedding co-ordinater) was amazing, we went through everything from how we would like the venue to look on our day to numbers etc. She was so helpful through out the whole process and nothing was too much for her to do. She was even successful in calming me down haha. All the staff and wedding team here at the Busby Hotel are fantastic, you won't ever feel lost or disappointed. We truly felt like royalty and we cannot thank everyone enough. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you! Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
Every single wedding we host is amazing, however there was a wedding that took place and it was a surprise for the guests! They all thought they were coming to the couples engagement party and when the "Groom" stood up to thank everyone for coming he told them they were all invited to their wedding...in half an hours time! The bride nipped upstairs and changed into her dress and came back down in time for the ceremony! a wonderful, memorable day.

The honeymoon suite's own private outdoor hottub with built in jacuzzi - it has to be seen to appreciate the luxury of it!

The team that we have in The Busby are second to none within the industry, every single person is so passionate about delivering the best day possible to all of the couples that we host weddings for, they genuinely care and that's what make the difference and makes me so proud!
