Choosing a venue is one of the biggest decisions you will make for your special day and we are delighted to have been considered.
Our beautifully designed 200 year old dairy barn conversion wedding venue near Chester is an ideal setting for such a romantic day. With outstanding views of the Cheshire countryside it really is picture perfect. Whether you envisage a formal or informal affair, the building has potential to suit all imaginative ideas or is still stunning just set simply.
One thing that we pride ourselves on here is the ability to create bespoke packages in a truly unique space. Set packages are something that we tend not to offer for any wedding. We feel we can make your day more personal and individual to suit your needs. Instead, we work on a minimum spend basis allowing you to tailor your day to your own personal tastes. Due to our bespoke approach you can ensure the day really is exclusively yours.

- KKatie & Tom15/11/2018Everything we imagined it would be. Everything we imagined it would be.We held our wedding at The Chester FIelds in August 2018 and we couldn’t have chosen a better venue. We wanted a relaxed day with not a lot of fuss but still wanted a day for people to remember. They really delivered and everything was fantastic. The majority of the day was spent outside in their beautiful gardens and we had a hog roast for our main feast and late night snacks of fish and chips and burgers. All the food went down really well. The organisation of the day was faultless and we had complete trust that they would deliver. I would recommend any couple to have their wedding at such a special venue. The place looked beautiful with the fires burning and the fairy lights. The food was fantastic and the service was faultless. All our guests commented on how amazing it was. From the moment we met Katie back in January 2019, we knew we were in safe hands. No ask was ever too much - my husband, in particular, appreciated Katie's clandestine efforts in planning his surprise fireworks display for the end of the night! The food menu was a bespoke creation by the wonderful Head Chef, Helder - and our guests have been raving about the quality of the food since. We've had a number of people tell us that it was the best wedding food they have ever had! The team at the The Chester Fields could not be faulted - their enthusiasm for our wedding was infectious and we cannot thank them enough for all they did to make our day special. All I can say is, it was the best day of our lives and it couldn't have ran any better. From the moment we met Katie to discuss we knew that it was the place for us. Katie was brilliant at accommodating everything we wanted as was Helder the chef. During the run up to the big day getting extremely stressed Katie was always there on hand and kept me sane. The day ran perfect with plenty of staff on hand and the food was amazing so I really didn't need to stress. The bar was always full but the guests never had a wait. Plenty of guests have commented on the gorgeous food and friendly staff. If you're looking for something more chilled and not your typical 'hotel' wedding, the Chesterfields definitely won't disappoint you. She was super organised, had some great ideas and we had regular contact / meetings in the months running up to the day. Katie was fantastic and really is a credit to The Chester Fields. The day went perfectly, food was amazing, Katie set up the tables / decor etc for us on the morning so we didn't need to worry about a thing. The place looked even better than we had imagined. We met with the head chef beforehand and he was great, creating a menu that had exactly what we wanted - the food was delicious. The evening BBQ was also a big hit with the guests. The staff on the day couldn't have done any more for us - we've never seen staff look so happy to be at work, ensuring everyone had all they needed throughout the day. I would 100% recommend this to anyone considering it as a wedding reception venue. Our guests have given brilliant feedback too. A fantastic, unique venue. I could go on... The venue is not renown for holding such events, however they well and truly delivered From start to finish the food and service was outstanding. On arrival Pimms was served then the staff circulated with nibbles, sticky sausages tempura prawns scotch eggs garlic bread, all hot tasty and plentiful. Wedding breakfast was amazing, steak chicken pulled pork new potatoes sweet potato chips salad coleslaw. Again hot and tasty, there were 2nds 3rds & 4ths!! As much as you wanted. To finish a trio of desserts, all amazing. Throughout the day ALL the staff could not do enough for all the guests. They were so efficient courteous and extremely professional, a credit to the business If you are looking for a venue have a look as you won't go far wrong. All provided by the staff at the Chester fields. The planning that Katie and nuno did for myself and my partner was just astounding. I approached Katie about having a harry potter themed wedding after party, thinking it was going to be a small affair. Katie was not at all concerned with the amount of guests I needed to cater for as we have very big families. 120 guests and more to come at night and a theme now that is a feat in itself! But the staff at the Chester fields were absolutely amazing! From start of the planning I knew Katie was on top of it, asking questions and keeping contact on a regular basis to put me at my ease, easily acessable if i needed to know anything. Organising food was going to be a nightmare I thought. Not a problem! The chef and Katie were completely on board with the theme and came up with some fabulous ideas! We had LOTS of props and decorations due to the theme, but this was not a problem for them at all. When I walked into the Chester fields after our wedding I was completely and utterly blown away, they had transformed the place into hogwarts!!! The food was to die for! The fact it was mass catered, you would think the food would be a little lack luster but oh my gosh! It was stunning! We had a hog roast with sides of vegetables which were all themed to Harry potter it was just amazing! The staff on the night were fantastic! Nothing was a big deal, it was just everything I wanted. Both Katie and nuno were full of life and so energetic with staff which was great to see and checked up on us every so often to see if we were happy or needed anything I will be recommending the Chester fields as a wedding venue for everyone and anyone! Meeting Katie and head chef Helder to design our own menu of our favourite dishes, having a taster and picking our wines were just afew of the finer details that instilled our trust completely in the team. From arriving at The Chesterfields on the day our guests could not have been looked after anymore to us leaving at the end of the night each one of the team were so attentive and have been highly complimented by all of our guests. The food and drink exceeded our expectations! Nothing was too much trouble in the lead up and having an idea of decorations Katie really saw our vision and could not have executed more perfectly, she completely took any stress out of the day and had thought of everything. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
Each wedding we have hosted has been special in their own way. My favourite type of wedding at the venue is always the relaxed, informal and down to earth affair. The true meaning of a wedding day is expressing your love to one another amongst friends and family and to see this happening in a relaxed setting where everyone is comfortable is heart warming.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
The venue is one of the biggest decisions of the wedding planning and it is so important that you get along and trust your wedding coordinator. I personally would visit the venue a few times before confirming a booking and meet the person responsible for coordinating your day as you will be trusting them to put your vision together to create the day you have been dreaming about for a long time.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
There has been so many but one of my favourites has to be seeing the love story from first date to the wedding day using pictures dotted around the venue. One of the more popular trends now are unique wedding hashtags and another of my favourites - the brides speech.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
The backdrop of the Cheshire plains, it doesn't matter what the season.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We have had celebrity guests but we pride ourselves on discretion and not needing to advertise that we can cater for all at The Chester Fields.
What’s your favourite canapé?
We love our local butchers at TCF and our glazed mini bangers or bangers in bacon have to be up there in the top three for me.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
We have our own Hog roast machine and it is very popular and has proven to be a great midnight snack served with homemade stuffing and apple sauce.
What is your venue's most unique feature?
There are so many, I couldn't choose. I am biased but I think the venue is breath taking.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
The team. Without the team we wouldn't have a business. Getting to work with people that are just as passionate as I am about the business is absolutely key.
