At The Daffodil each wedding is unique and personal to the couple getting married. We have created two contemporary wedding experiences with the seasons in mind. We have two stylish suites to offer, both with access to our terrace, boasting beautiful views across the lake and Cumbrian fells. This stunning setting provides you with a backdrop of natural beauty, perfect for your photographs. The Waterside Suite can accommodate up to 250 guests complete with a private bar and lounge. The Prince of Wales Suite is perfect for smaller weddings with the capacity for up to 90 guests. Both of our suites are licensed for civil ceremonies and can be arranged for your ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening reception. The luxe, contemporary style and abundance of natural light provides a neutral backdrop that can be decorated to suit any colour-scheme or theme. Our special day was perfectOur special day was perfect
Now that the craziness has died down I just wanted to take the time to thank you all at the Daffodil. Everything for our special day was perfect, from the food, to the service and setting. We loved every minute of it and really appreciate all the amazing and hard work that went into it! An amazing dayAn amazing day
My husband and I got married at the Daffodil Hotel in July and it was an amazing day. The team were very attentive and sorted lots of things for us on the run up to the wedding and on the day itself, this took the stress away which was much appreciated. Food at the wedding reception was gorgeous, thank you to the chef for the tasty, well presented food. Very special & enjoyableVery special & enjoyable
We cannot thank you enough for making our wedding day so very special and enjoyable. In fact the whole journey from the time that we booked The Daffodil in October 2015 was made totally pain free by Ashleigh and her team! Our confidence in Marcus and his team was also very well justified with the most special wedding buffet presented on the day. Our guests were constantly reporting how well they were looked after and how delicious the food was, not only at the wedding buffet but also in the restaurant. You have all made many friends in our wedding guests and Dawn & I will never forget what you have all done for us! We will be back!We cannot thank you enough for making our wedding day so very special and enjoyable.
