At The Embankment, we pride ourselves on being able to provide impeccable first-class customer service. We have an experienced, knowledgeable and passionate Events team on hand who will be able to work alongside you both to help create the day of your dreams. We now have a licence to hold civil ceremonies, which means you can experience a smaller more intimate ceremony in the traditional and cosy Jesse Boot Room or the spectacular Art Deco Lord Trent Room. We adore weddings here, so we are committed to providing you with a personal and memorable experience. We will take the time to get to know you both, and ensure that we truly understand your ideas and requirements. We aim to inspire and support you – together, we will create your perfect and bespoke wedding celebration, right from the wedding ceremony through to the bustling party celebrations with family and friends. The Embankment is host to two different function rooms which are available for your dream day. The stunning 1930s Art-Deco Ballroom, the Lord Trent Room, is situated on the first floor with views overlooking Trent Bridge. It has been recently refurbished and lovingly restored to its former glory with double-height ceilings, magnificent crystal chandeliers, original leaded stained-glass bay windows, beautiful architectural arches and a central dance floor. This room has the capacity to hold up to 90 guests for a wedding breakfast, and up to 140 guests for an informal evening buffet. Jesse Boot's former office has been restored into the spectacular Jesse Boot Room; an intimate, oak-panelled space, complete with original stained-glass windows, and a gallery view over the main room of the building. This charming and sophisticated room is ideal for smaller scale celebrations, like your wedding breakfast or the perfect reception room to welcome your guests.
