An unusual but fantabulous dayAn unusual but fantabulous day
Our wedding here at the Engine Shed was slightly different as my husband and I didn't plan it and knew nothing about anything until it was all happening. You see, With the help of CBBC my 8 year old son and his 2 besties planned our whole wedding for a TV programme and held the ceremony here. The Engine Shed was an absolutely perfect venue - the set up was lovely and the room was large enough To hold a bouncy castle for us to get married on (it was an inflatable theme). The whole room was kitted out in balloons, ball pools, inflatables, - it was truly truly wonderful. The staff on duty couldn't do enough for us, the BBC and all our guests, they were totally accommodating, friendly, enthusiastic and I couldn't have wished to have my wedding day anywhere else. We booked the Engine Shed for my daughter's wedding, what a amazing day we had, the venue was perfect, plenty big enough to host the wedding for the whole day, the ceremony was amazing a d set out how I pictured, the wedding breakfast exceeded my expectations, the lighting around the building made it more magical adding the the wedding styling we had organised. Lee was amazing, I can't thank him enough, from the first moment we met to the actual day he was a true professional and a credit to the Engine shed. He kept me calm, able to enjoy my daughter and son in laws big day. Attention to detail how I wanted things setting up, nothing was too much trouble. The rest of the staff were helpful polite and happy to help, the Dj had his work cut out with a unusual song list but he didnt disappoint. Highly recommended.
