The time leading up to your wedding day should be exciting, romantic and memorable, we hope you enjoy planning your day and we look forward to being there every step of the way. Our wedding coordinator will help design a bespoke package, providing advice on every aspect of your day to create the wedding you dreamed of.
The Netherside Suite is an idyllic setting offering a large log burning fire, natural oak beams, rural inspired rustic charm and large windows allowing a natural light to grace your day. We hope you both love it and feel at ease in your surroundings.
Within its site The Gamekeeper’s Inn has a collection of bedrooms, family rooms and suites, all beautifully appointed and bursting with character. The bar area hosts an informal space to drink and dine, filled with comfy chairs, a hearty glowing log fire and cosy nooks and crannies, perfect for pre-wedding get togethers. The conservatory dining room also prides itself on providing a relaxed and informal destination serving tasty local produce. Within the park itself, you’ll find the leisure centre and Long Ashes Pure Spa complex, wildlife and woodland walks. We do believe there is something for everyone off the beaten track at Long Ashes Park.

Thank you for considering us as the venue for your special day! Planning a wedding is stressful and we're here to make that experience much easier. We'll will be on hand throughout the whole process from our initial conversation, right up to the first dance. - CCatherine Aspinall29/01/2019We couldn't have asked for any more...We couldn't have asked for any more...We held our wedding here from our ceremony through to our night do, we couldn't have asked for any more, absolutely beautiful day from start to finish... so many compliments from all our guests about the venue and ALL of the staff... all we can say is thank you so much you made our day perfect and so so special... All our friends commented on the food, venue and staff...top notch!! Angela and Stuart, together with their staff could not do enough for us and the whole weekend was brilliant....I have always loved the Dales but now even more so.....it will forever be our special place.John and I had our wedding there last weekend and it was just perfect!! - KKatie Eyre29/01/2019Everyone LOVED the food.Everyone LOVED the food.Just wanted to say a massive thankyou to Stuart and his team at Gamekeepers where we had our wedding reception last Saturday. They dealt with all my annoying questions quickly and without fuss, they were really organised and I felt totally reassured that everything would be as I wanted (I am particular). Everything was perfect we had a sit down meal for 60 (including various special dietary requirements) that was absolutely delicious then we had bacon/sausage sandwiches in the evening. Every member of the team that I spoke to was friendly and obliging. Everyone LOVED the food had so many comments on it and also how lovely the function room and accommodation was. We adored the honeymoon suite was lovely to sit on the balcony the following morning and reflect on our magical day. We can assure you we will back again and again this place has so many happy memories now. Nothing was too much bother and the staff were only too happy to help. Angela, the wedding co-ordinator, was amazing. Again, nothing too much bother and loads of help with getting the small things organised. The staff could not do enough to help us. Angela, the wedding co-ordinator, deserves a special thank you for all your help running up to the wedding, nothing was too much to ask, she definitely has a lot of wedding experience! Claire, Angela, Stuart, Verity & the housekeeper (I didn't catch her name) were amazing, helping guide us through the day & helping with any questions we had. The Venue was perfect and exactly what we were looking for. The food was amazing, from the starters to the evening Hog Roast. The bedrooms are also finished to a very high standard - really recommend staying here too! Thank you so much for making our Wedding so perfect! Angela the wedding planner couldn’t do enough to help our nerves and was very understanding of our idiosyncrasies! The head barman (can’t remember his name) was incredible and simply lovely. This is the perfect wedding venue if you want an individualised service, want to feel you are the only people ever to get married, and have a magical day. Thank you is not enough, we had our dream wedding and will be forever grateful. The team are expert at making your big day go smoothly and ours was just perfect. The lovely wedding co-ordinator Angela makes you feel so at ease during the months before and is always willing to answer questions, no matter how daft they may be. She also listens so well to your ideas and turns these into reality for you on the day so effortlessley. The rooms are all finished to a high standard for your guests that stay (who also get use of the Long Ashes spa facilities) and the honeymoon suite is lovely, though after such a long day and dancing you don’t spend a huge amount of time in there! I think one of the best things we enjoy about the Gamekeepers is the food, on our wedding day it was amazing and so many guests commented on how much they loved it, but we’ve also been up several time with family and friends before and after the wedding and consistently great.
