We are a wedding venue with a difference in the heart of Liverpool. Whether you would like a small intimate wedding day or a huge party we are the perfect city centre wedding venue setting. Amazing hidden gem Amazing hidden gem
We got married here Dec 2018 and the day was perfect from start to finish. All guest commented how lovely the venue was and the food was the best they had tasted at a wedding. Laura and Sue are lovely and will help you with any enquiries. I only viewed 2 other venues and knew as soon as I walked in this venue was perfect. Our wedding beat all of our expectationsOur wedding beat all of our expectations
From start to finish planning our wedding was fantastic. The Racquet Club venue is stunning. It’s architecture and design is elegant and offers a venue that is different to the standard, run of the mill conference hotel rooms. It’s located right in the middle of the city centre with the Iconic Liver Buildings a few steps away. There are countless photo opportunities inside and a churchyard overlooking the UNESCO world heritage site of Liverpool Pier Head less than a 1 min walk away. We paid a small donation to the church and took lots of photos here. Sue and the team at the Racquet Club made our day all we wanted and more. From the first meeting, right through to the morning after our wedding, the team were amazing. They helped us with ideas, suppliers and ensured our day went perfectly. Nothing was too much trouble and the professionalism was second to none. The food at the Racquet Club was praised by all of our guests both our meal and buffet! The apple cheesecake was to die for! We had the best day of our lives and if you’re looking for an independent venue that offers a family feel in an elegant setting, this is it. The cost was extremely competitive too! The most amazing venue The most amazing venue
We had our ceremony at another venue but had a full wedding breakfast and evening party at raqcuet club. I am a very organised person and the team answered every email or question I had within 24 hours. This made me feel totally relaxed we were able to drop all luggae etc off the day before so i could fully relax on the day. On the actual day it all went so smoothly the staff made not just me and my husnband feel special but the whole wedding party. My nephew fell asleep during his meal it was no problem for them to cook him a fresh plate later on. All the food was gorgeous and I still get guests talking about it now. Especially the evening meal lasagne and mini pies. I worried that the venue would be to big and guests would be spread out however on the night every room was filled comfortably. We had about 110 in the evening and everyone had plenty of roon. I really enjoyed how the main room was full with people dancing but the other rooms gave place for people to sit in quieter spaces and have a drink and chat. I couldn't have wished for a day more perfect I couldn't have wished for a day more perfect
When me and my husband decided on Speke hall for our ceremony, we knew we had to pick somewhere just as unique and special for our reception! When I first saw the racquet club online I was instantly hooked on the idea of the red carpet staircase, the huge front door and the beautiful rooms on offer. After our visit this did not disappoint! Not only was it everything I could have wanted but the value was exceptional! To hire the room on an August bank holiday plus get 8 bedrooms was amazing value and nowhere else could live up to it! The staff were very informative the whole way through! We were kept up to date and they were so relaxed and catered for every single need! The food tasting was amazing! Having vegans, veggies, nut and milk allergies for breakfast, we knew it wouldn't be easy but the chefs made sure everyone had the beautiful food! We had a very early wedding meaning we had nobody to decorate the room for us, being the organisation freak I am I sent boxes, lists and diagrams of where I would like my endless reem of decorations to go! When I saw it it was perfect!!! The staff did the most amazing and perfect job! I couldn't have done it better myself! The whole day went hiccup free, there was no stress at all and the staff worked like crazy to make sure the whole thing was better than we ever dreamed! I would, and have recommended the racquet club for any event! The Racquet Club was perfect. The whole team made everything run smoothly from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. Really reasonable and not over priced like many wedding venues. We got married at the Racquet Club four years ago today! When choosing a venue we got fed up with being told exactly what we would eat, in which room and at what time by all the ones we looked at. The Racquet Club however helped us design our wedding around what we wanted, and it was beyond perfect. The whole team were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble, and it felt like working with friends in the end. The Racquet Club is about as beautiful as wedding venues come and we are eternally grateful we stumbled across their stand at the Liverpool wedding fair! We'd do it again in a heartbeat!
