Description
Description
The 18th century building, set in Coventry Canal Basin’s former coal storage building, oozes character with its exposed brick walls and curved ceilings. Set over 2 vaults, 1 side with bar and raised area, the other with stage and dancefloor.
The capacity is 170 and seated with tables 50 in each vault, however our intimate venue doesn’t feel empty with 30 or 40 guests.
We endeavour to make your event unique and special event for both you and your guests. Please note you will be supporting our charity because all proceeds of the venue hire goes back to pay our running costs.

Its comfortable, retro feel perfectly fit in with how we wanted our wedding - it is such a cool and versatile space, which was easily dressed up for a wedding with fairy lights and candles, in the same way that it smoothly transformed into a party at night. Me and my husband 100% recommend this venue for genuinely any event you're having, and several of our guests said they were inspired to use the Tin in the future! Barely any of our guests even knew the Tin was there, tucked away in the Canal Basin, just a minute's walk from town - it is such a hidden gem! During the planning and preparation for our wedding, Sarah and the team at the Tin were the kindest, most helpful people! Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they instantly got on-board with our unusual ideas, despite the extra effort it would cost them! E.G. we had a signature cocktail for the night, and had all of our guests request songs on their RSVPs, meaning a lot of extra effort for their bartenders and house DJ. Our venue hosted the 'wrap' party for TV mini series Love and Marriage, some of which was film at our venue. We host the cast celebrating the wrap, which included Alison Steadman, Celia Imrie, Larry Lamb.
More famous than those, was Grace Jones, who celebrated her 60th birthday at the venue when her son performed a gig there.
