We pride ourselves on our impeccable service. From your initial enquiry to your special day, our dedicated, friendly wedding coordinator will guide and assist you every step of the way.
Licensed for Civil Marriage Ceremonies, you can choose to have your ceremony as well as your reception at the hotel. There is a choice of two self-contained banqueting suites to accommodate from 10 to 130 guests for your sit down meal, and up to 200 for your evening reception.
Our wedding packages start from £3,229.00. Bespoke quotes are available on request.

- NNigel & Melanie27/06/2016Don't tell the Bride!Don't tell the Bride!I first approached Charlotte at the Waveney Hotel, Beccles, in September 2015 with a view to organising a surprise wedding for my partner based on the television series “Don’t tell the bride”. The Waveney Hotel was the third of five different venues I had intended to review. When I first mentioned my plans to Charlotte, she was very enthusiastic. I gave her a rough outline of what I wanted but insisted that the whole day must remain a secret. Within the first few minutes of this discussion I decided that this would be the ideal place to hold the wedding. In a vein of secrecy that lasted a full twelve months, Charlotte went far beyond my expectations. She went out of her way to first listen carefully to what I envisaged and then did not just recommend suppliers but also arranged for them to meet me. Not one of these suppliers let me down and all went above and beyond their normal line of work. Due to the nature of my wedding, the hotel even booked the rooms with the strict instructions to all their staff that, should anyone ring up for information, they were all to plead ignorance of this event. During the twelve months of planning, I was in regular contact with Charlotte and despite being exceptionally busy, her enthusiasm never faltered. During the week prior to the wedding, the venue was dressed and Charlotte liaised with all the other suppliers to create not only the perfect wedding but an outstanding wedding venue. As I organised this entirely on my own, having Charlotte take over the venue organisation took an immense amount of stress away from me and it was very reassuring to know that good common sense advice was only a phone call away. On the wedding day, I had expected hitches or issues but due to Charlotte and her staff at the Waveney Hotel, the entire day went like clockwork. Charlotte was our Toast Master and she ensured that our day was perfect. Every member of staff working that day was polite, well dressed, helpful and courteous. It was a pleasure to share our special day with such committed people. Due to their enthusiasm and involvement, my beautiful bride Michelle had the dream wedding she had always wanted. I truly don’t think this would have been possible in any other venue. I can’t thank the Waveney Hotel, Charlotte and her staff enough for their hard work, commitment and dedication over the twelve months and the phenomenal achievement of keeping the entire event a secret.
