They were easy to get into contact with and had lots of helpful ideas. The food was fantastic! Our wedding day was excellent and everyone commented on how lovely the location/food/staff were. - KKatie and Dean22/05/2020The most perfect day The most perfect dayJust wanted to say a HUGE thank you to Lucy for all her hard work on Sunday and with all the planning and preparation this last year with us, you did an absolutely amazing job and Whirlowbrook looked incredible! We loved it! Whirlowbrook is the most perfect setting for a wedding, especially with smaller numbers as it is such a beautiful, intimate venue. It lent itself perfectly to our wedding numbers and both Lucy’s and their team have been fantastic from our very first meeting right through to the day itself. Every detail was taken care of, nothing was ever too much trouble and every email we sent was answered promptly and nothing was ever too much trouble. Lucy White was with us every step of the way and helped all our planning and ideas come to life, she also has great advice from all her vast experience of weddings so was able to help us when we were undecided or unsure of things. Everyone was so helpful, friendly and very professional and really cared about our day and how important every detail is. Everything ran seamlessly and the day was perfect in every way. The food was also incredible both in the day and in the evening, the street food experience for the evening was a real hit with our guests! Thank you again so much, it’s been an absolute pleasure working with you! Aiden also needs a huge thank you as he was absolutely incredible all day and night, he was so helpful throughout our day and made everything run perfectly and he was there whenever we needed him, he’s a credit to the team! Thank you so much Aiden! Also we wanted to thank Jacqueline, as she also needs a huge thank you as she was fantastic, she greeted us as we arrived and was so helpful all morning whilst we were getting ready! Again nothing was too much trouble, she made us feel at ease and settled us into our rooms, she was brilliant! The staff were responsive and helpful throughout the process. On the day, the staff did an excellent job of decorating the venue just as we wanted and were on hand for all of our needs. We opted for the tapas menu for our wedding breakfast and it didn't disappoint; all of our guests commented on how good the food was. We chose our own entertainment for the evening and the staff were very accommodating of this. Ducks, rabbits and squirrels give it a fairy tale feel. We had the most gorgeous hot midsummer day. The building was quaint and lots of original features. The Oak room was perfect for our bespoke blessing while the garden room's wall of glass drew the outside in. The staff were amazing and went out of there way to make this the best day of our lives. They helped put up the homemade wedding decorations. Helped our guests be where ever they needed to be. The resident DJ played the perfect playlist and kept us busy on the dance floor as well as helping my give my speech to my mum who was celebrating her 60th birthday. I cannot thank them enough for our day. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a friendly elegant and truly magical experience.
