If you and your partner were planning on hosting a wedding weekend with your closest family and friends, you've come to the perfect place! This venue offers couples great packages and a charming rustic setting to celebrate their love. Facilities and capacity The facilities found at this venue include The White Barn with its towering ceilings and balconies is ideal for a reception. The Ceremony Barn seats 140 guests and is perfect for couples to exchange their "I Dos". The Exhibition Barn is great for a drinks reception and includes a beautiful courtyard, bar & antique tractors. The Tavern connects all 3 barns and is a great late night location. PLUS the new Disco Barn, to party the night away equipped with glitter balls and funky lighting. These facilities can accommodate a total of 200 seated guests. Services offered The hard-working and cooperative team will be more than happy to advise you in any way which they possibly can. From the moment we walked into the barns to have a look around we had a smile on our face! This was the place for us! The barns are rustic and with thoughtful modernisation retain all of their charm. Since we booked our wedding new floors, lights, heating and a roof were fitted. This has just made the venue even more magical; guests still talk about how stunning the venue was. Our wedding was in November so weather was a concern but having 2 indoor barns, a bar area and a covered tractor barn all to yourself means that you can use the space how you like. Luckily for us the rain held off, but it wouldn't have mattered anyway. The grounds are just as beautiful as the barns themselves and we were lucky enough to make use of the rowing boat to get a couple of photos on the lake. Katie is wonderful! She helped in the arrangementes on the lead up and made sure everything went to plan on the day. The moment we pulled into Wyresdale we knew we were going to get married here. We absolutely fell in love with the place and team instantly. The whole concept that you can dress the venue as you wish, choose your own suppliers and have the team at wyresdale coordinate it all is genius. We loved that the glamping is part of the set up and we got to spend time with our closest guests before and after the wedding, celebrating our wedding over a long weekend instead of just one day. Our wedding day was the most magical day we could have wished for, our guests were amazed and have commented that it was the best wedding they've ever been to. Katie and Lucy are amazing. Every detail taken care of, from stoking the fires, turning lights on, coordinating our caterer, musicians, taking drunken guests back to their hotel to even minding our baby whilst we went for a row on the lake. Our day was hassle free, our expectations were very high and gosh they were absolutely exceeded. We can't thank you both enough, our day wouldn't have been the same without you. We recently got married at Wyresdale Park on 13th July. It was the most perfect day and an amazing venue. We loved everything about it. Katie did an incredible job making sure the day ran smoothly so we had no need to worry about anything. We did the set up ourselves and it only added to the whole experience, while the take down was relaxed and painless. Wow! What an absolutely fantastic wedding venue! We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the end of March 2018 and it was perfect. The barns are beautiful, the bridal suite is stunning and the staff are truly wonderful! So much care and detail has gone into restoring the barns, and it really shows. Katie was fantastic - no question was too much for her, and she was quick to answer any queries in the lead up to the day, including us popping in multiple times to measure for our chairs and tables! On the day herself and Leanne provided an amazing 'wedding day coordination' team, and worked so hard , making it run smoothly, which meant stress-free for us. If you are looking for a wedding venue which you can make your own, adding your own personal touches to, then I would wholeheartedly recommend the wedding barns at Wyresdale. You will not be disappointed! Thank you to all at Wyresdale Park!Wow! What an absolutely fantastic wedding venue! Wyresdale Park was the first and last place we looked at for our wedding and as soon as we saw it we knew it was the one. It’s an incredible venue and was everything we hoped for. Katie was excellent in the build up and on the day and her staff were organised, polite and nothing was too much hassle. It actually POURED it down on the day but it honestly didn’t matter in the slightest. The barn area worked brilliantly and was well laid out and the photos came out great with the tractor. It actually added to the atmosphere as everyone was close together and it was very intimate in the bar later. So if you’re worried about rain(like us!) you really shouldn’t be. The place is now very special to us. We would definitely recommend it. To Katie and the Wyresdale team, Every bride (two brides in our case) has a very clear image in their head of how they want their wedding day to look - Katie completely understood our vision of a relaxed, fun atmosphere and helped with every aspect of our day. Expert vail wafting included 😉 The team are true professionals, any future couples can totally trust in the whole team. All our guests commented on not only how stunning the place is, but also how quickly you feel at home. We were able to totally personalise our day with no restriction so our ideas really came to life. We also ordered the vegan chocolate cake from the applestore cafe for our desert table - wow! What an unbelievable treat that was! The location, the accommodation, the team are all incredible. Thank you so much for all your support on the run up and the day. Katie, we could've done it without you. Can I get married again pleaseCan I get married again please
We got married at Wyresdale in November last year. It was the first and only venue we saw and we both loved it straight away. I really wanted to be able to choose everything for the day so the DIY nature of the venue was perfect. Katie couldn’t have been more helpful both when we were setting up and on the day. Having the house to stay in made the night before and day of the wedding even more special... I would 100% recommend it as a venue to everyone (can I get married again please 😂🙃)We got married at Wyresdale in November last year. A massive thank you to the Wyresdale team who have been absolutely fantastic from booking right through to our perfect wedding day. Having the freedom to decorate the barn on the Friday with our nearest and dearest was really special & we were able to let our creativity loose. Claire and Gemma were simply amazing on the day helping out with everything from lighting hundreds of candles to tying up my dr martens! The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and many of our guests commented on its uniqueness and were amazed by the amount of different spaces - it can transform so effortlessly from a gorgeous daytime space to an amazing evening party venue. It's hard to put into words how magical the whole experience was and how dedicated and down to earth the team are. Even in these times of uncertainty, the amount of love, joy and warmth from all the Wyresdale team and the fabulous suppliers that work closely with them radiated to us and all of our guests. I really cant thank them enough for everything and I know they will give so many brides and grooms such special memories for years to come. Wyresdale will always be a part of our hearts and we cant wait to be able to visit the team to say hello. If you're thinking of booking this venue just do it! We discovered Wyresdale Park and its incredible wedding barns about 6 months before we had even got engaged and fell in love with the place immediately. As soon as we got engaged we knew there was only one place we wanted to be on our wedding day. The whole estate at Wyresdale is magical and the wedding barns are absolutely stunning. We loved the freedom that the team at Wyresdale gave us to do literally whatever we wanted with the amazing space. We also loved the fact that our wedding guests could join us the day before to help set up and start the celebrations early. The team at Wyresdale are brilliant and were so helpful in the lead up to the wedding, providing us with hints and tips of what works best but still letting us put our own twist on how the day was run. Katie in particular was incredible, especially on the day, where she made sure that everything ran super smoothly. The day was everything we hoped it might be AND MORE and so many of our guests commented on what an incredible venue we had. We were able to decorate and personalise the barns as we wanted. The grounds and the lake offer great photo opportunities. Katie, the wedding co-ordinator was amazing. She helped and advised us in the run-up to the wedding and on the day she was great. Things were done without any prompts. She was on everything, totally organised, anticipated what was needed and that meant we could just enjoy the day in total confidence that things would run smoothly. The bar staff were excellent too, very efficient, helpful and friendly. The 'glampers' were delighted with the set-up. They loved the quirkiness and commented on the comfort of the beds.
