Cambo House can host a wedding up to 120 guests and our party woodland and tattie barn offer rustic alternatives that can host up to 200+. With 18 beautiful bedrooms, 3 country cottages and the Cambo woodland retreat, the estate can accommodate 45 people in-house, an additional 10 in the cottages plus camping at the woodland retreat. We have an incredible variety of venues for you to choose from, ensuring your wedding weekend is individual to the two of you. What a gem of a place!What a gem of a place!
We got married in Cambo in September 2019. What a gem of a place. It has the unique grandeur of a country home but with a real down-to-earth feel about it that really resonated with us. Lots of options for ceremony and reception, indoor and outdoor. The staff were fantastic, on the ball with every detail. Accommodation onsite was excellent. So many positive comments from our guests. We couldn’t recommend it highly enough!!We got married in Cambo in September 2019. What a gem of a place. WOW! We had Cambo as our wedding venue and it did not disappoint. The place has its own quirks and the decor is amazing. There's so many places you can use for your wedding. It really was the best weekend of our lives. I wish we could do it all over again, it went too quick. The staff are outstanding and always willing to help and Louise our coordinator was always on hand to help where she could. We can't recommend Cambo enough whether it's for your wedding or just an over night stay. The McGarrity's WOW! We had Cambo as our wedding venue and it did not disappoint. The place has its own quirks and the decor is amazing. There's so many places you can use for your wedding. It really was the best weekend of our lives. I wish we could do it all over again, it went too quick. The staff are outstanding and always willing to help and Louise our coordinator was always on hand to help where she could. An unforgettable dayAn unforgettable day
First of all, we really appreciate everything about you and Cambo staffs' help. Any small lack of those help would have made such a beautiful party impossible. We were also very pleased to hear that every guest were saying they were also really happy to be there, loved Julien's food and St Andrews' beer, and totally enjoyed the day. So this was definitely an unforgettable day in our life! Thank you so much!First of all, we really appreciate everything about you and Cambo staffs' help. Any small lack of those help would have made such a beautiful party impossible. Cambo has everything!Cambo has everything!
Cambo was the first place we went to see and we realised almost immediately that we weren't going to find anywhere that would suit us better. Cambo has everything, a beautiful, characterful house for everyone to stay in with nooks and crannies to explore. There was almost a fight over who got to stay in the tents and on the Friday night, after a BBQ, we all ended up sitting around the fire up there for hours. We got married in the walled garden which was absolutely beautiful, I appeared with my bridesmaids and dad from behind a trailing weeping willow, across a magical fairy bridge. We had our drinks reception outside the house and it was lovely to arrive back from having our photos taken to find everyone sitting around on the grass, soaking up the sun and drinking prosecco. The photographers were losing their minds because there were so many amazing photo shoot locations, from the beautiful green woods, to the beach and the walled garden, I'm so pleased with how many different backdrops we had! But my favourite thing about Cambo has to be the Party Woodland where we had our reception. Everyone commented on how amazing it was to have so many different little spots to party in, the marquee was the main event for dancing but then there was the bar tent, all this outside space and the fire pit, which we loved so much we sat by it till 7am! Cambo is an incredible, beautiful place run by lovely, clever, creative people, a hidden gem with so many different bits to it, it was absolutely perfect for us on every level and provided us with a day we will never forget. Our day was truly amazingOur day was truly amazing
I'm writing to express our huge huge gratitude for everything you have done for us over the past year to make our wedding so perfect. You have been so willing and reassuring and done everything to accommodate all I have asked for. Can you also pass on to the staff at Cambo our thanks, they were all so kind and helpful over the weekend and put up with our family taking over the house with all our plants and handmade everything! Our day was truly amazing, it was so us and that's thanks to you and everyone at Cambo.I'm writing to express our huge huge gratitude for everything you have done for us over the past year to make our wedding so perfect. We have so much to be grateful for and you are at the heart of everything we wanted for our wedding. From our first moment of contact your warmth, energy and kindness shone through - and at that point Cambo wasn't even available to us! But the stars aligned, fate intervened and to say we were over the moon when August dates became available would be an understatement! You looked after us from the get go and were so patient with all the emails back and forth - no question was dismissed, you did everything to help us and you offered all your advice and recommended list information freely and without hassle. It was all appreciated. Cambo provided us with the most magical experience and we are so thankful that we had our wedding there! We loved, cherished and enjoyed every single second of our time there. We were so lucky to be able to arrive on the Wednesdayand it really did feel like a home from home. That means that from now on we will be just arriving there to pop in whenever we're up to visit! Everyone fell in love with Cambo and all our family and guests were thrilled to be there. We honestly believe everything worked out the way it was supposed to. It all felt perfect! What you and Struan have done and what you offer to people for weddings is so special, so unique and so wonderful. Your whole team (especially Kay and Pauline as well as all the staff) were really helpful and generous with their time which we are so thankful for. We feel truly blessed that you guys and Cambo are part of our lives now - whether you like it or not ;) I don't know if words can really express our gratitude enough (and as an English teacher that's probably a first!) Both Lesley and I feel we hit the jackpot the moment we walked through the Cambo doors. Frankie, Struan and the whole Cambo Family made our wedding (non biased opinion alert) THE best wedding!! The setting is nothing but complete grandeur but the atmosphere created by the team couldn’t be more relaxed. You guys are amazing and we can’t thank you all enough for making our wedding such a special memory that we will treasure forever. You guys just nailed it! Frances and the team at Cambo were the most down to earth easy team to work with for our wedding. We had been searching for a venue for a long time and could not find anyone that could accommodate our needs. The cambo team were not only open to our ideas but excited about them and helped us pull together a 4 day event with 16 different nationalities from all over the world. The cambo team made it fun to organise our wedding and nothing was a problem. The grounds and House (cant really call it that more like a castle) are an idealic setting and the Cambo team really made us feel like it was our home for the long weekend. I could not recommend Cambo more for a wedding venue not only for the settings but for the team as well. Frances and the team at Cambo were the most down to earth easy team to work with for our wedding. Dear Frances and Struan (and all the staff this weekend). Jenny and Jonny wanted a romantic wedding ceremony, followed by a weekend of partying with friends and family. They chose Cambo because it was cool and chique. The house, gardens and weather were great - but they weren't the star attraction. You were!!! I know its your livelihood but you treated us all like your friends. Thanks for making our son and daughter in law's wedding so happy.
