Situated just 8 miles north of Leeds city centre, Bannatyne Cookridge Hall is a Grade II listed historic hall originally the home of a wealthy landowner, dating back to 1721. The listed building, set amongst an 18 hole golf course and beautiful grounds, makes the perfect backdrop to celebrate your wedding in style. Fall in love with it’s unique character and many original features. A friendly welcome greets you from the moment you step through our front door. From your initial enquiry, to the day itself, our professional and attentive team will be there to support you throughout each and every step of your planning process. Your day will be tailored perfectly to your requirements ensuring that your wedding is the one of your dreams. With menus designed to meet your exact specification and fine wines, you can be sure that your personal tastes are reflected throughout every aspect of your day. Complemented by picturesque grounds that act as the perfect backdrop to your photographs, this inspired choice of venue will ensure your wedding day is one to remember. Our function suite, The Conservatory can seat 80 guests for a traditional wedding breakfast and can accommodate up to 120 for your evening reception. Our Cedar Room is licensed for wedding ceremonies and can accommodate up to 50 guests. Both rooms overlook the beautiful grounds with plenty of natural light. Although we have no accommodation on site, there are many local hotels a short taxi ride away. We had our wedding here in August 2015 such an amazing day the room looked out of this world! The food was the best we have tasted and the evening buffet was amazing. The staff were so lovely and couldn't help enough. Big thank you to Michelle for putting up with me and my ideas it wouldn't of been my dream without your help. We had our evening reception at cookridge Hall health and fitness following our wedding in Mexico. The room looked amazing and we had a fantastic night. Everyone commented on how the venue was lovely and how great the food was. Nothing was too much trouble for Mel and Michelle and they made us feel at ease through all the planning and always quick to replying to questions and queries. We would recommend to anyone. We held our wedding breakfast and evening reception at Cookridge Hall in May 2016. Michelle and Claire were fantastic throughout, particularly in helping to arrange our menu catering for vegetarians and vegans, as well as answering my endless questions and queries. We loved the venue from the first time we saw it – the conservatory is so light and airy, the outside space is great and safe for kids to run around and the adults lounge is the perfect space for people to sit and chat. On the day the venue looked great, the food was spot on and everything ran smoothly. All of the staff were so friendly and worked tirelessly to ensure our day was the best it could be. We had a wonderful day and would highly recommend Cookridge Hall.We held our wedding breakfast and evening reception at Cookridge Hall in May 2016. Perfect Evening ReceptionPerfect Evening Reception
We chose Cookridge Hall for our homecoming Reception following our Wedding in Mexico. The venue was decorated beautifully with our colour scheme and with the added blessing of good weather, we were able to capitalise on the patio and grounds. The evening was perfect with all our guests commenting on how wonderful it was. Special thanks go to Mel and the team, not forgetting the kitchen staff for the amazing food, for making our evening as perfect as it could have been. We had our wedding breakfast and evening reception at Cookridge Hall this April. We had a fantastic day and it was in no small part to the efforts of Michelle and Mel. Preparations for the day were well organised and thorough - with everything accommodated to a standard that we expected. The conservatory looked fantastic and there was plenty of space for our guests; both in the garden and lounge area. My wife and I would heartily recommend Cookridge Hall to anyone in search of a Wedding reception venue; it made our day!We had our wedding breakfast and evening reception at Cookridge Hall this April. Recently me and my wife had our wedding breakfast and evening reception at Cookridge Hall following a church wedding at Meanwood Holy Trinity Church. This venue is excellent for a wedding reception which took place inside the lovely spacious and beautifully set up and decorated conservatory. We took full advantage of the stunning private garden and outdoor seating area which the guests and ourselves used to enjoy the 26° temperatures and to take some of the most lovely photos to remember our special day. Michelle and Mel the two event organisers helped us to plan and produce the wedding of our dreams, they were there and happy to help anytime we needed anything and helped us make the process as less stressful as possible, also all the staff that worked on our day were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful.
