Fantastic Wedding WeekendFantastic Wedding Weekend
Spending the weekend at Crow Hill helped to make our wedding really special. The Staff tended to our every need without ever being in the way. We had roughly 30 guess stay with us for the weekend and they can not stop talking about what a wonderful wedding it was. From the Friday evening, the wedding on the Saturday, through to the Sunday brunch, we can't fault Crow Hill. The food, the music and décor were all to our exact taste. Rebecca, Jess and all the staff did a fantastic job. Would definitely recommend to others!Spending the weekend at Crow Hill helped to make our wedding really special. We loved every single second of it and loads of our guests have raved about how fantastic it all was, including attention to detail and most importantly the food! It was the perfect day!It was the perfect day!
Just a note to let you know how much my family and I enjoyed our recent weekend at Crow Hill, celebrating the wedding of Peter and Becky. My daughter, son-in-law, granddaughter and I were house guests in the West Wing from Friday through to Sunday, and had the most wonderful time. The accommodation was beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean, with everything we needed and more. The Wedding Eve supper on Friday evening was relaxed and informal, a great opportunity for everyone to meet over good food and a glass of wine. The staff serving supper were friendly and very efficient, dishes were cleared and replenished without delay or interruption, helping to establish the lovely atmosphere that continued throughout the weekend. The wedding day itself went like a dream - the day flowed effortlessly although I could see the hard work and incredible attention to detail that had gone into creating that illusion. The post-ceremony drinks on the terrace, promptly served with delicious and plentiful canapés, kept the guests occupied while photographs were taken. The marquee was exquisitely presented and the wedding breakfast was superb (with special mention to the lamb!). Again the table and bar staff were quietly efficient, serving large numbers of guests quickly, attentively and always with a smile. After an afternoon of lawn games, music and singing, we enjoyed a long night of dancing, enhanced by the tastiest mini bowls of freshly prepared hot food I have ever eaten, the scampi and chips being a favourite! There was never a feeling of being rushed as we slowly left the marquee after midnight and retired to the main house for nightcaps and convivial unwinding. The Sunday brunch was surprisingly well attended given the late bedtimes but the quality of the hot buffet more that made up for the lack of sleep! Food and drinks were constantly replenished once again and everything was cleared away without us even noticing. Likewise, the marquee was cleared and tidied and all the flowers, gifts and cake neatly packed to take home. So many of my extended family have contacted me to say what a brilliant day it was, with a winning combination of a stunning venue, great food and a wonderful crowd of people singing, dancing and enjoying the informal country-house atmosphere that Peter and Becky wanted. It was the perfect day, and one that will be fondly remembered for a long time - the photographs already emerging show how much fun everyone had, and that is surely the mark of a successful event. A more perfect day we couldn't have imaginedA more perfect day we couldn't have imagined
I just wanted to drop you a line to say thank you so much for the brilliant wedding you hosted for my son, Ian, and Rachel. We travelled up from London on Friday and had the pleasure of staying in the 'Four Poster' room with the single room next door. What an amazing place you have there - almost too much to take in. My daughter and her family were in the big room near to us which was lovely. To have the run of such a beautiful house in such a wonderful location was amazing. The buffet supper in the evening was superb and it was so nice to sit down with all Ian and Rachel's friends and meet some of them for the first time. And the icing on the cake for me was being able to get up at silly o'clock on Saturday morning and make a cup of tea!! I think Harry and Megan are going to have to pull all the stops out to better this wedding! The staff, the meal, the way the marquee was decorated - everything was perfect - and I really don't know how you managed to sort the weather, especially as it was Bank Holiday weekend!!! The breakfast on Sunday was lovely - full marks to the people who put all that together. It was just what we needed to send us on our way home. A more perfect day we couldn't have imagined. Thank you all so much for all you did - what better way for Ian and Rachel to start their married life together.
