Lined with floor to ceiling windows, the Marquee showcases breath-taking views over rolling fields, the idyllic setting for a Wedding celebration all year round. The Moorlands Loft is the idyllic space for a smaller and more intimate yet equally as stylish wedding. Lovingly restored in 2011, it's beautiful exposed brickwork, original beams and elegant chandelier bring a touch of rustic grandeur to your celebration! Elegant décor including stylish chandeliers and soft ceiling drapes in both the Marquee and Loft offers couples a versatile and neutral colour palette upon to impart their chosen style. We have just had our wedding reception at The Moorlands Inn and it was just perfect! So grateful to Susan and the team for putting on a great day for us. Our guests have commented on everything from the look of the venue, to the food, it was just amazing! We wouldn't changed a thing. Thank you Susan for being so responsive and helpful on the run up to the wedding, you helped me make my image into a reality. Amazing!Amazing!
Had our wedding here just over 2 weeks ago, and it was amazing! We had a few quirky requests due to having to facilitate deaf people, and wheelchair users, but nothing was too much. When our cake collapsed (provided by someone else not the venue) 2 days before the wedding, the moorlands went above and beyond to make sure it was sorted. Guests all said the food was fantastic, and all the staff had smiles on their faces even though we worked the bar staff extra hard! Worth every penny we paid for an amazing personal service, from when we first visited, right up to the next day.Had our wedding here just over 2 weeks ago, and it was amazing! A fabulous dayA fabulous day
Had our wedding on 15th July was a fabulous day and it was down to how attentive and brilliant Sarah was throughout the day. She was an absolute star. Sue also was great on the lead up and made our day special. If I could give them more stars I would. What an amazing venue and what amazing staff,just had my wedding here in the marquee and I honestly could not have asked for anything more. The attention to detail, the food, the staff, the whole thing was fantastic and I'm so so happy I choose the moorlands as my wedding venue. Thank you to Simon, susan and all the staff. First class serviceFirst class service
From the minute we decided on the Moorlands marquee as our venue we had a first class service from Susan and her team. Nothing has been too much trouble. On the day everything went to plan and this was down to Susan and her amazing team.. The food was beautiful. The stage for our band was amazing! The DJ had music for all tastes and because of this the dancefloor was always full! The most fantastic wedding dayThe most fantastic wedding day
In January we had the most fantastic wedding day in the Moorlands Marquee. The day itself went so smoothly, the venue looked gorgeous and everything from the food to the DJ was just spot on! We had our ceremony there and the marquee was spacious, set up beautifully, with plenty room in the bar/lounge area for drinks before and after. We used some of our own decorations but also used the lovely candelabras for our centre pieces and the post box for our cards. It rained on the day but we managed a group photograph outside and used the covered area at the back for a few more. We had mulled wine and corona for welcome drinks which were given out to everyone. We had a 3 course sit down meal which was served swiftly and coordinated well. The food portions were generous and tasted great. All our guests commented on what a great place it was and they really enjoyed the whole day! The DJ they provided, Jeremy, was really attentive and played our requests as well as providing a DVD filmed over the course of the night, which is such a good keepsake to look back at. Susan the coordinator always answered my email enquiries or phone calls and was always super calm, collected and helpful right up to the day. The staff worked very hard to make every minute of the day run smoothly, which it did! I could not of asked for a better dayI could not of asked for a better day
I had my wedding in the moorlands marquee on Sep 3rd I could not of asked for a better day. the service was fantastic the food was out of this world everyone guest said the same about the food, Susan the wedding planner is brilliant I didn't have one bit of stress all day Susan and the staff made sure everything ran to plan .. I would like to thank all the staff at moorlands for making my day fantastic and especially the dj Jeremy and his wife fantastic service .. Had our wedding here in April. Only booked it in January! From start to finish nothing was too much trouble for Susan and the team. The setup, the atmosphere, the staff, the food were all fantastic and we couldn't recommend them highly enough.Had our wedding here in April. Only booked it in January!
